Re: NFS Support

I can get NFS working from literally every other box in my house. It simply does not work on my MiSTer. I will wait until (hopefully) a native NFS client is available. I couldn't find nfs_mount.sh outside of this thread,, but previous posts say it was added to main. I tried editing the nfs_mount.sh to suit my needs but it did not work. I don't know...

No, you are wrong. Native NFS support is available since spring 2023.

Can you tell me how? I would greatly appreciate it. I haven't had any luck mounting an NFS partition

What do you mean by native?

AFAICT NFS isn’t available by default and requires a custom kernel

Re: Only the N64 core stretches the image

I was referring to the date, yes.
Do you have any previous cores you can try?
There is also an unstable build available dated 24.04.25

does;
vscale_mode=0
appear in you ini?

Do you have any other settings in your ini for N64?

You could try adding

Code: Select all

[N64]
vscale_mode=1

Re: 10-pin mini DIN (Saturn) connector question

I asked the people over at MiSTeraddons.com and this was their reply It’s one of the only connectors that has dedicated pins for RGBS, s-video, composite video, and stereo audio I don’t think it’s the ‘ultimate’ per se. But it looks like you have it correct- You would look for a Saturn AV > component/composite… etc. Incorrect Cable Warning: Properl...

Does PSX refer to PS1 or all Playstation consoles?

The PSX was a special DVR edition of the PS2 that never seemed to have left Japan.

PSX was also the codename for the PS/PS1

Re: Missing Raizing Cores

Do you have a keyboard?

F9 gets you into the command line, user is root and pass should be 1 IIRC

once you have a prompt type

Code: Select all

update_all.sh

You can also check

Code: Select all

/media/fat/Scripts/.config/update_all/update_all.log

I prefer to SSH into my MiSTer

Cores by Coin-Op Collection Org It may not be available anymore regardless of enabling COC I can find RAIZING but no RIZING

Re: The State of DACs for the MiSTer and Direct Video

I use TOSLINK to a DAC because when I was connected to the the 3.5mm jack I got loud pops on startup, shutdown, changing cores.

I purchased this because I live 3 blocks from the store. No noticeable delay in audio.

in the 0mhz_downloader.sh there is an option to change installation directory. I don't know if you can move an installation or if you have to "install" it to a different path.

Simpsons (W, 2P, Set 3) worked fine. I had to go into the service menu and enable sound in attract mode.
