Re: Only the N64 core stretches the image
I was referring to the date, yes.
Do you have any previous cores you can try?
There is also an unstable build available dated 24.04.25
does;
vscale_mode=0
appear in you ini?
Do you have any other settings in your ini for N64?
You could try adding
Code: Select all
[N64]
vscale_mode=1

Re: Missing Raizing Cores
Do you have a keyboard?
F9 gets you into the command line, user is root and pass should be 1 IIRC
once you have a prompt type
Code: Select all
update_all.sh
You can also check
Code: Select all
/media/fat/Scripts/.config/update_all/update_all.log
I prefer to SSH into my MiSTer

I didn’t need to make any changes to ini files and it does not disrupt HDMI audio.

Re: The State of DACs for the MiSTer and Direct Video
I use TOSLINK to a DAC because when I was connected to the the 3.5mm jack I got loud pops on startup, shutdown, changing cores.
I purchased this because I live 3 blocks from the store. No noticeable delay in audio.

Re: Final Fight CPS2 will not work
ffightae_cps2.zip doesn't seem to be available through the usual suspects. I don't know when it disappeared. I started backing up my /media/fat/games/mame folder before updating or starting from scratch. Really my whole game folder.

Something I can stream to like a Chromecast, from my phone or mac, not just from my PC. I have SD content and would like to watch some YouTube videos in 240p/480i on a CRT

Re: Neo Geo Not Working With Favorites/Gameslist Scripts
I just extracted a Metal Slug 5 and renamed it to mslug5.neo and regenerated my menu. It does NOT show the full name. If I load the core the game does show correctly in the core menu.

Re: Neo Geo Not Working With Favorites/Gameslist Scripts
My neo files all have full names. My previous set was abbreviated but (edited) I think I remember they showed full names in the menu, I could be remembering wrong. Do you have the xml files in your games/NEOGEO folder?

here is the raw file link.
You only need the updater. Make sure to download the script and not the HTML. I can’t find a link to the raw file on my phone.

in the 0mhz_downloader.sh there is an option to change installation directory. I don't know if you can move an installation or if you have to "install" it to a different path.

Simpsons (W, 2P, Set 3) worked fine. I had to go into the service menu and enable sound in attract mode.
