You're really close, what about disk controller ?
There are some parts and pieces for the disk controller. We need to work on that.

Re: Coco 2 + Mantra Alice + Dragon 32/64

Take a look at the new CoCo2 and Dragon32 core. Not sure why the Dragon 64 doesn't work. Any help with that would be appreciated. Just run the updater.

CoCo2/Dragon32:
- first release, some known bugs and timing issues
- joystick, sound, cassette, and cartridges work
- some tapes don't work, some do
- dragon64 doesn't always boot, and keyboard doesn't work
- Core written by PierreCo, DShadoff, AlanSWX, and code from Pace

I missed the scrambled address line issue. Can we change the core? I need to figure this out.

Yes. Which is why the links are better.

Unless the filenames change. Of course if there are new games you will have to add more links.

Re: Custom arcade lists

Just make two directories and move the mra files into each. Make sure to put the right roms in the right folder or just put two copies in since they aren’t big. I am not sure if we added the orientation to the mra files yet. I think we didn’t merge that change in. Otherwise you could write a script...

Re: Preserving High Scores?

Easiest solution would probably be to port the saveram feature of other cores and adapt it to the areas where the high scores are saved in the Arcade board's ram temporarily. The list of ram locations are in the mame hiscores.dat file. We should put this table into the MRA and build a generic modul...

I had a black screen until I used a newer rom. We will move this to mister devel when it is debugged and working well. Still a few minor issues to work through.

Are you running sound through hdmi or the audio jack on the I/o board? It works for me through the audio jack.

Try glider.

Re: Preserving High Scores?

We can add high scores using the mame hiscore database. Maybe I will take a pass at it soon. Does the linux/arm side actually have access to the FPGA memory? Or is this going to involve having to modify the sys module to provide an interface for generic peeks into FPGA memory? Most arcade cores sto...

Re: MAME Conventions

Hi, I just got a MiSTer and I have no idea how MAME roms work. I've got some arcade cores to work - like Pac-Man, but a handful don't and I want to know what I'm doing wrong. The games that don't work usually say there's a file missing, but the MAME naming conventions confound me and I don't know w...

Re: Default coin button?

I have setup my controller in the snes-style from the main MiSTer menu, which works out of the box for most of the cores. However, every arcade core requires me to re-assign buttons because the "coin" button seems unset. I find it strange; I would have expected the coin button to be mapped to "sele...
