Re: Xbox Wireless Adapter 2023 Status Questions

I used the Xbox USB Wireless adapter on my MiSTer and it works great. I recently played Mario Party 2 with 4 players via the N64 core and it was a fun time, BUT on games where rapidly pressing a button was essential, we all were seeing missed inputs while everyone was pressing fast. I have polling at 1000hz and the latest builds. Any way to resolv...

Re: Twin Cobra PCB

It would be stupid to work on a core that already exists. Not necessarily true. There are many cores that can be improved and there are several that have been with completely new cores. Sometimes it is better to just start over. I personally prefer quality or as close to perfect as possible over quantity. Agreed! However, my comment was in the con...

Unfortunately I don’t get video when connecting it to my Macbook Air through USB-C. Otherwise it works great on the MiSTer through HDMI and lag is super low: 5ms! 😄

I also have to USB C here and they even work over thunderbolt with my macbook seemless.

The one with the lighting is the one to use for thunderbold screen share. Also works for power though.

Did you have to connect another cable for power or just a single USB-C cable to your MacBook?

Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄

After reading the thread, I ended up getting the USB-C model. Although the video lag seems a little bit higher if compared to the other ones (as per my understanding), lag is still sub-frame and USB-C for power and also connectivity with PCs is a plus!

Let's see how it goes!

I don't need to. There's already an issue open for Rendering Ranger: R2, which very nicely makes my point.

The game that have issues on real hardware as well? That doesn’t prove any point.

Re: MiSTer Nuked-MD MegaDrive Core

MiSTer SNES core is also cycle accurate There's a HUGE difference between cycle counts and implementation/integration accuracy. The Amiga core is cycle accurate in 68000 mode, yet still has flaws in the custom chipset implementation. I'm not even sure why people continue calling out cycle accuracy in the Nuked core...pretty sure the older core was...

Re: MiSTer with LLAPI/LLOAD flickering inputs

I was looking at the GitHub what do I need to use to program the board with the new firmware? Something like Arduino IDE? On a Linux box, you need to install the following packages: gcc-avr build-essential binutils-avr avr-libc dfu-programmer Connect the DFU jumper for each AVR in the LLAMA adapter, connect it to the PC. Then you need to checkout ...

Thank you for clarifying! I was pretty sure, once I saw that it was working with a shorter cable that the problem was on my I/O board. I find this LLAMA adapter to be very functional I only wish that the db15 port supported a 6 buttons arcade stick but I think that is impossible since there aren't any low lag adapter for that I think I've made an ...

Re: MiSTer with LLAPI/LLOAD flickering inputs

IO6 is not used by LLAPI. The reason it works with the longer cable now is probably because of the added 10k pullups. LLAMA adapter provides 10K pullups on those lines already, so when you added another 10K pullups in parallel, those make them 5K pullups. Stronger pullups now, which might have helped with the signal stabilization.
