Re: Flip / Rotate Mode Consistency especially Gorf
I have looked into this further and it is possible with a little effort as demonstrated by using cocktail cabinet mode. Gorf and Moon Cresta both have cocktail cabinet modes and are able to rotate the display the other way for Player 2 so the vertical refresh timing comments above are not the constraint. The original game and the core can do this w...

There is nothing to edit.
I think it is a temporary fix to get it working.
Coin and P2 is not supported at this time although they register in the test mode.

Could they be converted to Scalable Vector format SVG and make use of that rather than bitmap?

Re: Vectrex Core
I ran it with overlays on a Dell 2001 FP 1600x1200 monitor last night and it is almost perfect.
I tested it by placing a Minestorm overlay over the MiSTer display to compare overlay sizes.
Make sure you have any monitor stretch / fill functions off

Re: Bezels for Arcade Cores
Unzip the Overlays to a folder called overlays. Copy this folder into the folder where Vectrex Games are. Place the new Vectrex.rbf in _Consoles folder (I renamed mine as VectrexOvr.rbf) Start Mister and run the VectrexOvr core Minestorm boots with no overlay Select F12 to select game and load an overlay file. Re: The VIC 20
I played Myriad, Arcadia and Omega race a lot as a kid. The VIC has a lot of enjoyable games, I also like Gorf, Choplifter, Radar Rat Race, Jetpac, Skyhawk and Robot Panic, plus lots of others. Too bad many of the best ones are not included, but it makes sense, as there are a lot of arcade ports. You can play them all from USB Stick ;-) Yes, lucki...

Re: The VIC 20
Yes but does your MiSTer have a lovely Vic20 Keyboard with PET keyboard font on sculpted keys (never produced like that but cool) and off white case with Tan coloured function keys? There have been conversions of The C64 to Raspberry Pi so no reason not to put your MiSTer into The Vic20 :-) The Vic20 also has licenced some more of the old games. Th...

Re: Stargate Needs the Inviso Button
you cannot modify MRA that way. If button is not implemented, it can't be added through MRA. Core needs update. We have Inviso working with changes to the MRA but realise this is not the correct way to deal with it. Invisio is confounded with Start P1 doing it this way....but it makes the game playable. Please could you take a look at the core for...

@Sorgelig
I tried this as you can see above and StartP1 and Inviso are confounded.
Please can you take a look and see if there is something missing in Stargate core, it is not the same as Defender
Thanks.

Update script fails even with PARALLEL_UPDATE="false" [Solved]
@Locutus73
Update script fails even with PARALLEL_UPDATE="false"
I have run this for a few days and get 85% through download and then it fails.
I created updare.ini with PARALLEL_UPDATE="false" and tried a few times with the same result.
release_20200618.rar is the problem file
Is there a fix for this issue?

Re: GP33 Core
I had a GP32 and still have a GP2x and a Pandora.
They are all interesting machines for homebrew and emulation but not very mainstream so will have little interest for many I think.
Why not dig out some documentation on the device and place links in this thread.
p.s. Retitle the thread to GP32

If you added Inviso after Hyperspace the try adding in L to the string sequence A,B,X,Y,L,Start,Select,R
I suspect what you did was add the term but took over the assignment to Start

It does hundreds of the things you want but not Missile Command yet.
Defender and Robotron are very good as is Joust.
Lots of options for a large portion of the older arcade and many computer systems from EDSAC to Amiga

It does not work with Centipede but I don't think the core accepts trackball yet.

If you want to run VGA into an arcade monitor then have a look a the Ultimarc JPAC it has a clock dividing circuit.
Please note I have not tried this with MiSTer....yet but I think others may have.
