Re: Robotron KC87 core port

I found the speed problem, the original author already implemented a turbo mode and i failed to understand it. Now its switchable in the osd. There is sound output too now, tape noise can be turned on in the osd. The games are now playable at close to the real speed and in all their glory :) There ...

Re: OneLoad64 Games Collection v2 Now Released!

Okay, so the day has finally come to release v2 into to the wild. Apologies it's taken longer than originally anticipated! There are now 1001 unique games included. ;) Anyway, the key points of note are: The primary uncrunched games are now in Magic Desk CRT format for even quicker loading. These a...

Re: Robotron KC87 core port

I added TAP file support to the core, but now its obvious that things are running a little fast. One more thing for the todo list.. There is more info on how to convert/use TAP files on github . Its pretty crazy to see how sloow tapes really were back then: https://youtu.be/Oi6K0Y1p6PQ Great, thank...

Re: PC88 Core

After a close examination of graph.bin, I noticed that it followed a binary count pattern and was able to generate it programmatically, which I guess won't violate any copyright. This bash script should generate a correct boot.rom (it should be able to run on the MiSTer itself but I haven't tried)....

Cool, thanks for that. I will test it as well.

Re: PC98 Core

I converted the .hdm files to .d88. When inserting the "system" and "introduction" disks, it boots and shows the intro. Update: Tried again and this time the joystick input works. I can follow the disk change requests and the game starts. I was not aware of the right order of the system/introductio...

Re: PC88 Core

With the hints provided in this thread, I made a MRA file (download and code below). Put it in '_Computer'. Put the *.rbf in '_Computer/cores'. Put pc8801.zip and pc9801f.zip from the mame set inside '/media/fat/games/mame'. Start core by selecting the MRA file. Set 'Mode' to 'N88V2' in core menu. ...
