I assume the mister multisystem ram is not 2.9?? I get sound issues on most games, and no way to upgrade the RAM. Hopefully ram compatibility can be improved further.

From github "A lot of games have sound issues."

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Had to swap my ram and now this is working perfectly with "MiSTer SDRAM XS-DS v3.0 128MB Module" from https://misterfpga.co.uk/. Previously I was using a v2.5 128MB module, not sure of what the differences are - but for all the pleasure the MiSTer gives me, this is a wholesome upgrade and worth every penny. Able to use the update saturn ...

Re: Flickerblend on the Neo Geo Core

I'm not sure it has been said but if you load the games using the UniBIOS, generally you can turn off this flicker effect in the games' soft-DIP settings. Generally the setting is called "FLASH" in the settings. You can select the UniBIOS, load your game, hold A+B+C on controller 1, and then go into the games settings and change this eff...

Was just remembering this thread, as I`ve recently encountered some annoying image persistence after a 1-2 mins of Samurai Shodown IV on my Samsung Odyssey G4 (IPS 240hz).

Was there ever a "solution" or some sort of workaround for this?

Sadly not. Or at least non that I know of. I really wish there was.

Flight sticks

Hi people!

I've been thinking about picking up a flight stick to use with both my PC and MiSTer. Are there any good recommendations out there? The one I'm looking at currently is the Logitech G Extreme 3D Pro (wow, that's mouth full) but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

It should auto-start. When you first run it, it'll pop up a dialog asking to add itself to system startup. You only need to do that once.

Re: AmigaVision/MegaAGS 2023.04.05 Released!

So.. most likely a stupid question. Are there any recommended video settings for AmigaVision when it comes to 1440p? I'm just using the pre-set 12 (1920x1440p) with video_sync 2. My monitor seems fine with switching between PAL and NTSC and I haven't noticed any weirdness. Have those of you using 1440p monitors done any specific adjustments for thi...

Does the Jotego Outrun core work well at the moment? It was first released. The Outrun core screen was so broken that it couldn‘t be played. I wonder if these problems have been solved now.

OutRun, Turbo OutRun and Super Hang-On are still broken, at least for me.

I think Journey to Silius is a solid game but it is the music that really makes it stand out. It's hard as... and I usually make it to stage 3 and it's game over. It's all about memorization. Because if you don't know exactly where some enemies are it's almost impossible to avoid damage. This is especially true when jumping down from platforms. I r...

Ok, finally had a chance to sit down with Stunt Car Racer. I did it after a long session of Gran Turismo 7 so that felt a bit weird. But after a while everything came back to me. I've never played the Atari ST version before but as far as I can tell it felt pretty much like the Amiga version. Maybe some differences that I couldn't spot. This game i...

I haven't been able to play UN Squadron as much as I would have liked. But here are some random thoughts. I prefer the SNES version if I'm playing by myself. It has a different sense of progression. But other than that this is one awesome shooting game. It's just well balanced. Hard but not too hard. I like the fact that you have a life-bar instead...

I'm also noticing some weirdness in menu core on my LG C1 when using video mode 8. Its not going black but there is horizontal wiggle. This does not apply with mode 0 (720p), mode 12 (1440p), or supplying a custom video line, even a 1080p one. Seems to be the same with VRR on or off. I don't think it always behaved this way so there may have been ...
