Re: KV-21T1D Geometry Tweaking Help Needed

I have the same KV-21T1D TV which has purity and convergence issues.
On the yoke I find 5 rings I can rotate, but from the manual, I can't really make out what each ring does.

Can someone tell me the function of each of the 5 rings?

Much obliged

Vince

Re: 9.7” iPad Screen Board Firmware Discussion

I finally got a hardware flasher. My board was dead from a bad flashing via displayport with hdmi adapter. It won't power on anymore and I could not reflash it from windows. Now I've flashed it with a dedicated hardware and it's working! And with a nice surprise, 640x480 over vga is working now! I can use it to play dreamcast :) Seller from aliexp...

Re: Cannot reliably define joystick buttons

I am trying to get my ipac to work with my mister but run into some weird issues. When I define joystick buttons in MiSTer menu I can assign just 3 buttons, A, B, X... Y doesn't respond. However, on the player 2 side, it works fine. In Neo Geo core the P1 start and P2 start work, however in CPS2 they don't. I am a newbie at this, so please bare :) ...

This is great! Thank you!
I used the Genesis 240 suite by your advice, but i have to switch between PAL and NTSC in order to unlock the settings in menu, it's not ideal but it works.. Thanks for your time!

KV-21T1D Geometry Tweaking Help Needed

Hi y'all, I dumpster dived a Sony KV-21T1D, but the geometry is totally out of wack. I managed to enter the service menu, but I am looking for a list of menu options. Does anyone here have a service manual I can download? Also, what is the best Test suite to use for tweaking? It seems the service menu is locked when inputting an NTSC signal, I can ...

If it's about sound, then I highly anticipate the boot/startup sound most.

Re: Flyback transformer

Hey Thorr, thanks for your reply.
I tried sourcing a 29" TV but it seems even harder to find one that fits inside my cab because the screen bezel curvature is different than most TV's.

Flyback transformer

Hi, Y'all,

I run my Mister in an old Sega Naomi cabinet with a Sanwa 29e31s chassis. I recently did a full re-cap but didn't solve some issues I have. I suspect I have a tired flyback transformer. Can anyone here recommend me a place where I can buy a NOS flyback, I am having a hard time finding one.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Re: Tutorial: How to set up your MiSTer with a J-PAC/I-PAC

Thank you. Im trying to get my MiSTer working with a JVS-PAC2 by https://irkenlabs.com/jvs-pac2/introduction And this will definitely help, hopefully full support for the JV-PAC2 will be implemented as this will let a lot of people get controls working with a MisTer on their JVS arcade cabinet. It will only partially work, I have it working on my ...

Re: Sega Naomi JVS with MiSTer

I think i got it, I used a jvs-pac and analog out set to sync to monitor.
The only thing that I can't get right is assigning the cab's buttons and sticks.

Re: No Internet connection when running update script for first time

locate the file linux/_wpa_supplicant.conf (example: /media/fat/linux/_wpa_supplicant.conf) open in text editor supporting Linux/Unix line endings (for example Notepad++) replace put_your_SSID_here with your actual WiFi network name and put_your_password_here with your WiFi password. sometimes you need to change the country code from TW to yours. r...

CPS 1 Jotego's CPS1 Core - Checksum Issues [Solved]

Hi all, congrats on the new board, it's fantastic!

I have an HP L1750 rotatable LCD screen connected to my Mister, is it possible to rotate the core to the left? that would be perfect as my screen can only be rotated to the right.

Regards
