Re: Spectravideo SV-328

I started to test the latest version. First impression: with the new sound chip the sound volume is way down, at the limit of audibility. I have only very few roms which limit the testing possible. You mentioned converting cas to wav, but how do you load them? The addition of a floppy would also allow running CP/M. But only the loading of cas woul...

Re: Spectravideo SV-328

You can follow that core from here: http://www.retrowiki.es/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=200036887

That's a testing release. New version with corrected timmings and fixes will be posted soon.
Also a testing release for SiDi.

ZX Spectrum April 4th 2021 TAP loading not working

Hi There.
Latest today's release : https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/ZX-Spectrum_MISTer
ZX-Spectrum_20210403.rbf Release 20210403.

TAP loading from OSD seems to be broken.

Is there anyone else observing the same problem?

Edit: More options stopped working, unusable at all.

I don't wish what I'm going to say sounds like sarcasm, but ... when there isn't even an open core of 68030, don't you think the expectations are too high? Forget about the Apollo Team's Vampire, it's a proprietary core and will not be used outside its projects. According to a Finnish colleague, they say the Vampire's core reeks of Coldfire. There ...

After last update ( today ) the C64 core goes black. OSD Works but no C64 Screen nor prompt on screen.
Edit: I realised that now rom is located in /C64/bootrom/c64.rom

Now works fine !

With the 32MB SDRAM + 2MB SRAM module there is no problem with anything.
You mean the 128MB module and SRAM issues ?

Very nice, Dragon was my 1st machine but always a cbm guy :) What's compatibility like ?? A FPGA core is not like an emulator, emulation it's a sequence in which some things can run well and others simply do not work. In a FPGA everything runs on same time. If the implementation is good and meets the right timmings, video and audio then what you w...

Bang ! Bingo !

ExCyber , you got the key. Thanks.

After several I / O errors, I realized that from the OSD (which already works) you can configure the options of the machine.
So once I checked it was working and with a DOS 6.2 disk for PC98, this is the result.

At this moment I am not at my computer, but I remember that it had to do with a video clock.
Something like: CRTC98 : VID | VTIMING : TIM | clk3sft was determined to be a clock but was found without an associated clock assignment.

It doesn't matter if you have the right BIOS if the core doesn't work. Ok, I am resynthesizing and I have realized that you have to choose the Zet98MiSTer project. In a while when I finish synthesizing I will tell you if it is specifically this. It seems to be a problem with clocks and their allocations/associations.

just need to create a FAT 12/16 image, put inside the Atom stuff and rename to VHD, that's all you have to do.

https://github.com/RW-FPGA-devel-Team/Mister_mc-2g-1024

This package is an extension on the FPGA multicomputer, as introduced by Grant Searle. It focuses on the Z80 CP/M computer.

Does work with secondary SD or VHD file as described at git.

Regarding joysticks, when I had my Dragon I built a digital to analogue converter to use Atari standard joysticks.
