Re: Elan Enterprise Core Release Candidate by RW FPGA-Dev Team

Nowadays, it is relatively easy to make a new Memotech MTX-500, 512 or even RS-128 core. To give an example, the SVI328 core was born by using 32KB memory banks, not like the native MSX which is 16KB. In the end the ports are different but it is absolutely feasible to make an MTX core with a native rom and it is not as complicated as it seems. The ...

Five minutes ago I have synthesized the new changes from git and I have to say that CP/M is now booting and is fully operational again. :D
I really like the state it is in right now and I congratulate you because you have done a great job. Every day it is closer.

Works Great ! Cheers eriks5

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?

z80 is already fixed (but not pushed yet), but I found some other regressions with the VIC, for example sprite collision detection is off by 3 pixels, so timing is still a bit off. It's a lot of fiddling with the timings, and since each build takes more than 15 minutes, debugging and testing is slow. I'm not aware of issues with the disk drive, ca...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?

I would like to work from the latest core code you are releasing and just try to merge the latest into SuperCPU128DX, The vic branch I'm currently working on to implement the $D030 tricks also introduces some major changes the sysCycle state machine, so maybe hold off on merging until that branch lands. No ETA for it. VIC part is now 99.9% working...

The issue for this core, as per many others is this:

issueforcores.png
issueforcores.png (11.55 KiB) Viewed 4435 times

It not only affects the X68000, but a few cores that are not working or have lost video since the last firmware and framework update

The only way is rollback to the previous release of MiSTer.

Why ? :(

Comparing C128 core and C128 real hardware, I was testing the core and what called my attention was that the Vic II-e does not work correctly when using the $d030 trick and the CPU at 2 MHz. rfo_into01.png And should look like: into1sfo_01.png Here's another screen, doesn't look ok. rfo_demoscr02.png Here's the real screen: 2ndokrfo.png The Demo is...

Re: PDP2011 port to MiSTer FPGA

Free licenses are just that, FREE You seem to be confusing "free" as in the freedom defined by the GPL with "free beer", just like you're confusing Git (a source control tool like Hg, SVN or CVS) with MSgitHUB (a web service which I left almost immediately after the buyout). This is the philosophy that inspired the GPL: https:/...

Don't take me wrong, I've been wishing for a PDP-11 core for a long time - even tried to make this Russian clone work but I had serious stability problems for me that I couldn't solve. I'd be really happy to use it. But if betraying the spirit of free software is the means to have it, then thanks, but no, thanks. And this thread is the correct pla...

From AlanSWX ,the Coleco Adam Computer core is going to land very soon in your MiSTer. I do not know when is going to be released but seems to be really close. https://github.com/alanswx/Colecovision-Verilator_MiSTer The core is almost ready, just a little issue loading Adam roms pendant to solve. CP/M loads like a charm. DISK and Digital Data Pack...

Yeah, it was a typo.
For MiSTer as boot.rom in /media/fat/games/Enterprise
For neptuNO & Reloaded as ep.rom at SD's root.

Re: Oric-1 / Atmos Core

Have you tried dragging a .TAP file into the OricDSK tool?

Once you drag the .tap the content will be displayed on the disk. It is a very fast way to convert TAP to DSK. The resulting DSK has to be converted to EDSK.

Re: Oric-1 / Atmos Core

Use the HxC Floppy Emulator application and convert your ORIC.DSK to .EDSK ( like CPC ) ( That's a preservation format )
Resulting images will work as a charm.
