I have this issue with a lot of cores, some of them I’ve been able to see just enough as it is scrolling to change the video options to something that works. I cant recall if that is something that would work with the o2.

Is anyone using this core on a CRT using the analog (component) video out? On my screen things are shifted a bit too far to the left. Wondering if this can be tweaked.

EDIT: adjusted horiz position in the service menu for my TV and it's looking much better.

Hmm, then I must have used these extensions for the previous 2600 specific core. Seems I no longer need to do this, great!

Oh, no offense taken, I didn't realize they all just automatically worked! I also have a Harmony cart for my 2600 where I have to keep those file extensions, so ideally they could be loaded that way on the MiSTer, but it's not a huge deal.

Is it possible to have this core support showing and loading 2600 files with extensions for identifying bankswitch type? e.g. my crystal castles is crystal_castles.f6s. It seems I can only see .bin files.

Is there some config option somewhere to enable gamepad support? I've already setup and mapped my gamepad in MiSTer and for the ao486 core. Can't traverse the menu or use a gamepad in games.

Got this all setup over the past few days, updated to the latest, lots of good stuff in here, thanks for the effort! I use this on a TV and that is working well too. I too own those 2600 'daptors but I have had no luck even getting a joystick to work in the 2600 core, let alone the paddles. I'm able to assign L/R/U/D and Fire (and I skip the remainder), save settings, and they do not register at all in games. The MiSTer menu however works w/ the joystick. I'm sure I'm doing something very stupid... :oops: Defi...

Is there a particular setting for this core that could make Crystal Castles work? The playfield has no gems. My guess is this is a bank switching thing?

Having the same issue (reason for the necro). Did you ever figure out how to get it working? I register it fine with the 2600 core, and as you mention it can be used traversing the MiSTer menus, but no input at all in the core itself.

I'm trying to do the same thing w/ my 8BitDo, how exactly can you map the mouse to an analog stick (and the mouse buttons to controller buttons)? There doesn't seem to be a per core option for this (at least I don't see it in the Amiga core), and I had done the remap in the main MiSTer settings and when it came to the mouse options I used my contro...
