Re: Golden Axe Starts in Service Mode
if golden axe start in service menu go to exit option and open up OSD and select service mode double press it on off two time and it should start. it seams that one press on the service menu is like you are holding the button service and putting it on and off is like your pressing and releasing the the service button. so you need to double press it.

Re: Problems with MT32-pi after updating to v.0.13.0
i may have had the same problem for me if everything worked for you in v0.12.1 what fixed it for me was backing up my config.txt and mt32-pi.cfg and delete every thing except roms and soundfront. and go to https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi/releases and get v0.13.0 from there. and then get the new mt32-pi.cfg file from v0.13.0 and update your opti...

Re: 8Bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controller Not Working
i think they changed the button to Y in the newer firmware i think.i think they left B blank now so holding it just do nothing.you can also try plug it in with out holding buttons and see if that help.
also they recommend to plug in controller direct in an usb port of the computer when doing firmware updates or it can brake stuff.

Re: No Display on MT32-Pi but Sound Works
this is frrom wiki
This is because I²C is not really designed to be used over lengths of cable, and so signal degradation can occur due to capacitance in the cable and/or signal reflection. If you experience a corrupted OLED screen display or erratic synth switching behavior (e.g. as in issue #59), try a shorter cable.

Re: New MiSTer Presets From Robby in Discord
What resolution are these presets designed for? @OP: there's no need for such a passive aggressive reaction. You make a forum thread in which you share some files with zero context. There already are existing presets and I can make my own simply by experimenting. So what makes these specific filters special and/or worth creating a topic for? nothi...

Re: New MiSTer Presets From Robby in Discord
They are video presets that contain a combination of the following settings; hfilter, vfilter, sfilter, gamma, mask, and maskmode. They are named according to robby's tastes I guess. There's a decent number of them so describing what each one does when the summary of what it does is in the filename seems kind of redundant. Download them and take a...

Re: Taito Egret II Mini Rollerball/Spinner Controller
So, I received mine today. The situation regarding MiSTer use, is exactly as flynnsbit describes; everything's working as it should except for the spinner. As far as quality goes, it's surprisingly pleasant; the trackball has a heft to it despite its small size and fits my hand nicely. I was worried the whole thing would feel plastic-y and toy-ish...
