Re: tty2oled Soft&Hardware Add-On (Shows Core based Pictures on a Display)

As all three display sizes share the same display resolution.
The 5.5“ has no disadvantage except the price.

The code for the SD Version is quite old,
better use the USB Version which is not really slower i think.

This software pack is amazing, many Thx.

Maybe you think about renaming the „Amiga.mgl“ file and setname into „AmigaVision.mgl“.
That matches better, I think.

Re: MiSTer Super Attract Mode (SAM) is now available - the first game screensaver for your MiSTer!

Serial controller is CP2102N. Only the one TTY device. No tasks running except tty2oled and SAM. CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, RAM at 1GHz. Sounds good to me. If I stare at an entire 3-minute cycle of a game on SAM, it 'skips' one second twice during the 168-second countdown, roughly equally spaced apart... The timer is a great feature, but it's all scri...

All my Systems (ESP-32/32S3/8266) are working fine with SAM.
Here and there is the actualization of the timer a bit late but nothing lost so far.

As i run actually my tty2oled with an ESP32S3 I will connect my ESP32 and will check. Which serial controller is used on your ESP32 Board? Any other devices on your MiSTer which use tty dev‘s. Any other tasks running on the MiSTer which makes him busy? See here for some information how to get system infos: https://github.com/venice1200/MiSTer_tty2o...

Re: MiSTer Super Attract Mode (SAM) is now available - the first game screensaver for your MiSTer!

The timer is done by SAM, but the timer-data must be transferred to tty2oled. Each data transfer from SAM to tty2oled is answered back (ACK) from tty2oled to SAM when the data are fully processed. Now SAM can send the next data set and so on. Depending on the process speed of your tty2oled display, the answer back to the MiSTer can be earlier or la...

Hi@all, beside the permanent Pictures Update we released a new tty2oled.sh script Version which add a bit of better MiSTer SAM Support. A new variable called SLEEPMODEDELAY="2" was added which helps SAM to bring back the MiSTer Menu Picture after SAM switched tty2oled back from "sleepmode." And I call the users which like our di...

Regarding your Rotated Loading Screen:

As you moved the 16 Pixel header from the top to the bottom,
the Loading Text and Frame must be moved 16 Pixels down as it sit‘s too high.

Some templates are here

https://github.com/venice1200/MiSTer_i2 ... _Templates

I use Gimp for recoloring and resizing
and Windows Paint for finalizing.
After that I use Gimp to created the XPM and XPMtoPIX to created the Pix.
Picture size must be 128x64.

I will look for the loading screen, but give me some time for this.

.. I just popped out the the plugged part on the connector and lined it up according to the the connector labels... I do this as well if plug and connector don't match. I use a needle to lift the inner plug "lockers" slightly. Mostly I try to find a matching connector housing (eBa*, Ama**, ask a friend, old hardware). From the Pinout it ...

Hi, nice to see you got it working, looks not bad. I never saw the two color display mounted that way, yellow was on top everytime. Maybe another solution for you is to use an one-color version of this display. Anyway, if you like to post your python script here I will add it as a tool to the repository. Re: MiSTer Super Attract Mode (SAM) is now available - the first game screensaver for your MiSTer!

Hi@all, there are two tty2oled related things working together. The control script (Daemon) tty2oled.sh which sends normally the data to display, and the Screensaver which runs on the Display himself and which is configurred using the settings in the tty2oled ini files when the control script starts. If SAM is started, 1) the screensaver is disable...

Control ist just a modfier, not a dedicated keystroke.
Restore is only working with Run/Stop together.
