Re: Ethernet: A thought on a contribution
The UART solution is pretty slow (~ 10kB/s) compared to real cards for Amigas (~ 100kB/s), so there is some justification to work on this. I see no extra value in implementing real hardware for network access, since a driver is needed in any way. Therefore going the A314 route seems to be the most efficient. Just a small rant on UART... In my expe...

Weird, Sysinfo reports like 6MB/s for some partitions, and 2MB/s for another on the same hdf.

Re: 68020 AGA core - 2 game issues
I've built a core with the recent updates from @Slingshot and @retrofun that were committed to TG68K.C. Fire and Ice seems to work, so I assume that should fix most of the GraftGold games. Pull Request submitted.

You just need Freewheel in your wb-startup, no need for the other drivers.

Re: Sponsoring RTG support
Is it at all possible to simultaneously have different outputs on the HDMI and the IO-board analogue port, or are they very much linked together? Although I'm sporting a monitor that can take 15kHz on the VGA, and does auto-switching between these inputs (Acer G276HL Kbix). Having additional options is always pretty cool. In most cases, you end up...

Re: Sponsoring RTG support
MiSTer is fully open but i don't see anyone willing to add RTG. It's interesting to hack closed platform than write something for open platform.. Hey Sorgelig, if no one else beats me to it, I was planning to work on RTG. But first I want to implement the 68k CPU emulation on ARM. I'd like to help with any of the menial tasks for any of these thin...

Re: Looking for Amiga driver developer
AFAIK, Workbench doesn't do the automatic refresh. I think it only works for new volumes that will show up on the main Workbench window, such as when you insert a new floppy into the disk drive. Other Workbench replacements might be capable of doing updating on changes content.

Re: Sponsoring RTG support
No, I'm smirking at the notion of fitting a full-speed CL GD5426 into the DE10 alongside the Minimig core. You have the sources, you can build with or without it. It's not closed as the Vampire, where they don't even want you to have the pin mapping. You do realize the vampire team follow MiSTer as well .. Ive seen your posts asking for pinouts.. ...

Re: Looking for Amiga driver developer
I've adjusted some paths, to point to /media/fat/Amiga/shared as the folder for sharing.
The compiled binaries are in the release:
https://github.com/apolkosnik/a314/releases/tag/rel1
I've compiled that under windows, rather than going the easy route with the docker on linux.

Re: Sponsoring RTG support
Kolla, I think it's all about having more fun, and having more choices.
At least that's why I'm using my MiSTer more than the Vampire.
On this platform, I can make changes, test and learn VHDL and Veriolog.
In the undergrad, I recall single-stepping an imaginary MIPS CPU with a pencil and paper, so this is definitely more fun and more challenging.

Re: Action Replay roms
You can start the search from around $2000 (since the first 1K holds things like autovectors, and stuff, so your trainer data is not going to be there) up to the 2MB mark if you set the chipram to 2MB mark. See the memory map below Memory Map $000000 - $07ffff 512 kB chip RAM $080000 - $0fffff 512 kB extended chip RAM ("Big/Fat Agnus") $1...

Re: Action Replay roms
I was not able to get the AR to work either. I'm using hrtmon. There are a couple of versions of it available, one of those contains patch that does a proper reboot, rather than a red screen, I think that's the one for MiST. You might want to try that one.

You meant that it will work with your 1440p monitor, and cover the whole screen?Golden Mean wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 3:01 am But I actually have two cores: Amiga_20200407 and Minimig_20200529. And I didn't manually place them in the Cores folder. The only difference I've noticed so far is that the Amiga core allows me to display 1440P, but the Minimig will not.
