Re: Operation Wolf and Rolling Thunder

Yeah Op Wolf used an optical sensor and they die alot :( I'd love to get my hands on an Op Wolf Cabinet. First Lightgun game I ever played.

Re: Well Nobody Saw This Coming! Nintendo 64 Core Announced

Very impressive. With the N64 library MiSter will have it all. :D How long do you reckon to get GoldenEye running? That will keep me going for 6 months or so. Only reason I keep my N64 around.

Re: Sega Arcade Cores

I figured M2 and M3 wouldn't be possible. I'll wait patiently. I am a huge fan of early 3d arcade games. Be nice to play em on me mister.

Re: Sega Arcade Cores

I'm no expert but Model 1 should be doable. Id any devs out there are interested please let me know as I may be able to dontate an entire Model 1 board. Model 2 has a decent emulator but Model 1 has a bunch of issues in mame.

Sega Arcade Cores

Are early 90s arcade boards theoretically possible? I'd love a Sega Model 1 and Model 2 core. I'm really into early 3d games and am impressed with the PSX and the Saturn.

Re: MiSTer Multisystem Handheld Prototype 'Handy'

I think its a great idea! Imagine though if you could play with your MiSter on the go then you could dock it with your telly like a nintendo switch or something? Some nights i cant be bothered to sit up so id like to play PSX in bed and I dont want my PVM crushing my legs.

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core

Thank you bud. I'll only select cards in Slot 2. I only used the empty mem card images to fill full of saves from my OG mem cards.
Glad I know now and not later. Just having a great time with this core. It's perfect.

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core

Maybe that what did it? My save got overwritten with a blank Dino Crisis.sav? Can that happen? Say I start a new game with automount on, save on the auto generated sav file. I then for whatever reason mount another MC then forget to turn automount of. When it comes to load My Dino Crisis.sav it gets overwritten? Sorry if i dont seem to understand

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core

Hiya, yes it did say saved. It happened twice with Dino Crisis 2 and once with Silent Hill. Will let you know if it happens again. On Silent Hill I saved, turned on the mister again and it said there was no save file. So I went into my virtual MC (used the empty memcard template) mounted that with my OG PS1 saves on and loaded silent hill save. Mou...

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core

Even though i enjoy the new features of this nightly build i shall no longer use it as twice i have lost save games. Even though auto save on OSD was turned on. I load back up Dino Crisis 2 and Ive lost 2 hours of gameplay.

The release I was using was 22.10.17. Has anyone else experienced lost saves?

Re: PSX Compatibility List

Thanks for the clarification I play the alot of survival horror games on the system I will try your settings. I cant be bothered changing the settings to each game. I like the catch all approach. I noticed i get weird artifacts on Dino Crisis 2 with Render 24 bit on.

Re: PSX Compatibility List

I really, really like the texturing filters. Could you expand my knowledge of the following types?
'All Polygon' is that just the filtering of 3d assets?
"Dithered' and 'Dith+Shaded'

I am playing Silent hill with Render 24 Bit: On
Dither 24 Bit for VGA (On)
Texture Filter 'Dith + Shaded' 100%
Detect 2d filter: On
It looks fantastic on my PVM

I suggest you not selling it until the core reaches maturity. Now it´s in alpha stage.
Groovy. Thanks :) It works fine with everything else ive thrown at it :D

Re: PSX Compatibility List

Not sure about PSIO, but XStation is likely more compatible as it only has to exchange the CD part and does a great job with it. Hard to compete with rebuilding everything against "only" CD ;) (CD is maybe the hardest part, so hopefully that doesn't sound rude) No probemo, amazing work with the PS1 core. Hats off to you. Jusy playing thr...

Re: PSX Compatibility List

So the PSX core is more accurate / compatible then the PSIO and possibly Xstation?
Wow. I'm so chuffed I repurchased a Mister. Funnily enough... the first core I played was Tekken 2 (NTSC) Played great.

Re: Terasic DE10 Nano Price Increase

De 10 Nano is now just under £200 without VAT on Mouser /Digikey. I purchased my first DE10 in 2020 for £120 VAT inc. I've had to purchase one off of ebay for £240 (including 15 next day shipping). Almost in tears. Never should have sold it in first place.

NeoGeo Mini Controller Suddenly not recognized

Hey folks hope everyone is fine and dandy. Been having a little problem with my NeoGeo Mini USB-C controller. It's been working perfectly until today. All of a sudden Mister does not recognise the controller, I've gone into FTP and deleted the config to try again but it's just not reading the thing. All my other controllers work fine...just not thi...
