If the installation is that old it is probably best to do a fresh installation. There is a tool to migrate to a new card now too.

I am backing up my card now, but it is bit long process, where is this migration tool?

Re: Has anyone tried a 1TB MicroSD card in their MiSter?

1TB are very overpriced - that way I could get 2x 512GB cheaper. I have 512GB and wondering if will be option to use IO Board's sd slot as additional storage, but I heard that it is not possible. Get a tiny usb microSD reader for the other. I have one made for a keyring & it's a snug fit. Very handy. Yes i am thinking about that, but idk why s...

Hi, I recently ordered an iPad display with an HDMI converter board. I'm unable to get it to work with the MiSTer. The reseller stated it was a newer revision of the HDMI board. And its correct, it uses USB-C as input power, and has a mini HDMI connector instead of a full size connector. Here is a picture: thumbnail_IMG_6824.jpg It works fine on m...

Re: Neo Geo Pocket

Honestly, a MiSTer portable would be physically huge and rather pointless, not to mention issues with heat dissipation. There's about zero chance of any homebrew project like MiSTer (running mostly off-the-shelf hardware) being a useful portable device. I prefer horizontal systems... There are lots of porable systems like GameCube, Wii etc... But ...
