Consider a direct descendant of the IBM model M keyboard, now made by Unicomp in the USA.
They have multiple options, 101 key, 104 key, and even space saver keyboards.
Not sure if they ship to Europe at the moment.

Re: Ok let's talk seriously about a MiSTer handheld...
I've been trying to work on a handheld Mister for over a year. I've researched and purchased so many of those small screen. I really thought the AMOLED screen was going to be a winner, but unfortunately it's not 1920x1080, it's 1080x1920. It doesn't display the Mister screen at all. The best I've found was a 5" 4:3 aspect ratio screen with 640...

Re: Ypbpr cable & VGA Switch Recommendation
I use this VGA-component cable purchased from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F3WVV99/
I use a component switch box rather than the VGA switch box you propose. No recommendation on the VGA switcher, maybe generic will work, but someone else can verify for you.
Good luck!

Re: New MiSTer Composite adapter - mAVster_MD2
This doesn't do component video, only RF, composite and S-video. Great for all the other older TVs people just throw away. I am really looking forward to getting this. My youth was spent on a Coleco Telstar hooked up to a 13" Panasonic TV with the rabbit ear antennas.

Re: New MiSTer Composite adapter - mAVster_MD2
Thanks got it. I need new glasses, I totally missed the audio input next to the VGA port on your pics. I thought that was the RF output.
Looking forward to trying this out.

Looks cool, I just did a pre-order. How do you handle audio output (especially over RF?)

Re: Bad scaling on 1920 x 1200 monitor
Comment out the existing video_mode line on your mister.ini file and add the following:
For 1920x1200:
video_mode=1920,128,208,336,1200,1,3,38,193160
or if you prefer 1600x1200:
video_mode=1600,64,192,304,1200,1,3,46,162000
For 1920x1200:
video_mode=1920,128,208,336,1200,1,3,38,193160
or if you prefer 1600x1200:

Re: Vectrex Core
Where did you a 9:10 aspect ratio for the Vectrex? I'm looking at my Vectrex right now and it has a standard 9" B&W CRT mounted vertically.

Re: HDMI to Component (for old JVC CRT TV)
I have those same exact items for my Mister. The HDMI to VGA adapter I use for hooking up to a Dell 2001fp monitor and the cable I use for my I/O board to go to a Component input on a TV. Hope you can get the combination to work for HDMI-Component.

Re: Trying to set 1600x1200 but reverts to 720p
This is the setting I use on my Dell monitor:
video_mode=1600,64,192,304,1200,1,3,46,160000
Also, make sure your mister.ini is in the root of the SD card and not in the config directory.

The SOG switch is for the I/O board. I was testing direct_video via the HDMI output.

Re: HDMI to Component (for old JVC CRT TV)
I use the I/O board for component output but on a whim I tried out the following HDMI to Component adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082HT11MH
It displays a picture but the colors are off, kind of greenish. With ypbpr settings on ini to 0, it gives better colors but I get a rolling picture.
