Re: East German Poly-Play
Yeah, it crops the image a bit on the edges, same thing happens with NeoGeo and CPS-1 cores. I calibrated the TV based on the Genesis core, so if the core produces wider image than that I have to squish it horizontally though the TV's service menu.

Re: East German Poly-Play
Great work on PolyPlay and TIA, but for some reason I can't get my CRT TV to sync up properly with both of them. I have a B&O MX7000 set (which I should probably get to recap once the global situation calms down) and I'm accustomed to manually adjusting "Hfq" value in its service menu to reduce a few rows of wavy lines at the top of t...

Re: Metal Slug turn red blood on
You can also use UniBIOS's in-game menu (Start+Select) to enable various cheats, some of which can let you circumvent regional changes without changing the region to Japan. For example, I know that KOF 2002 has cheats to enable both blood and advanced physics in overseas regions. The only issue is that unlike soft DIPs, as far as I know, UniBIOS do...

Re: DVD Player Core?
Couldn't a generic DVD player core be a stepping stone towards a Nuon core? Or is Nuon's CPU too powerful to be replicated on DE-10 Nano?

Re: CRAM color palette dots option
Now that we have had CRAM option for the Genesis core for some time, shouldn't it be eventually ported to the MegaCD core as well? Or did the Sega Mega CD somehow alter the video generation for the entire system, eliminating CRAM dots on the combined unit?

Re: Have we reached perfection?
I found by testing random games that two out of seven currently available Kirby's Toy Box games fail to boot using BS-X: Kirby no Omochabako - Baseball and Kirby no Omochabako - Pinball . They both cause error 09 and delete themselves from simulated memory pak. 20201017_201457-Kirby no Omochabako - Baseball (Japan).png 20201017_202943-Kirby no Omoc...

Re: Input issues in Final Fight Anniversary Edition hack
Thanks, but I have already reported that as a bug on Jotego's github and he gave instructions to change a single value in .mra to fix this issue. So everything works as supposed right now.
Thanks for the offer anyway.

Homebrew NES port of the arcade version of Donkey Kong
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhRoe44Dg54 Currently the rom demonstrated in this video fails to boot on MiSTer, only showing a black screen. From my understanding it uses NROM (mapper 0) with battery save function - is such combination even supported by MiSTer? I thought that it could be related to iNES header providing insufficient information,...

Input issues in Final Fight Anniversary Edition hack [Solved]
I am having a weird input issue while playing Final Fight Anniversary Edition hack on CPS-1 core, but I'm not sure if that's a bug or something strange happening on my end, so I would like someone else to confirm this. For some reason this hack does not allow me to move characters diagonally, locking them in four directions instead, making the game...
