Re: MiSTer Core Dev Update: VGA Output
Curious if when you say in the video 'the old version that only supported HSync as a Composite signal (probably)'' and then trailed off a bit. Is the version you're referring to from the MiSTer framework or is it your own and still available? Reason being I can't get the MiSTer to sync with a picky CRT that only accepts composite. From my understan...

Any Luma Adapters for picky '86 Sony DXR
My favorite CRT, the Sony KV-25DXR really doesn't like Composite on H.Sync for its' Sync processing. It's a 15Khz TV only, and will really only take Composite or Luma signals. My setup is the I/O Analog board using VGA to Component Cables. The Component goes to my GBS-C, and outputs VGA. The VGA then goes in to Mike Chi's VGA to SCART adapter. Fina...

Re: Wireless Saturn Pad with MAMEs & Analog
Apparently I just needed to do a cold reset. Worked fine afterwards, so please ignore as a potential bug.

Wireless Saturn Pad with MAMEs & Analog
So I've just gotten in to the MAME cores and games, I did the update_all script and have been enjoying the new games. Initially I had downloaded everything over HDMI, but my go-to TV is a CRT/PVM. I was able to play Arcade title with my Sega Saturn Wireless Pad with no issues over HDMI. When I switched to the CRT, after mapping the controller for m...

Re: X68000 Set Up Guide for X68000 Core | Pezz82
I can load the X68K Core, but with the new one that displays like the actual System loading I get 'Missing File or Directory: X68000. Same for FD00 or 01, and all files. On the older .rbf Core, when I try to load the SRAM by going to SRAM-File, I don't see the .Bat file. So I'm missing something here. I did load the SD Card 2 to a separate Card and...

Re: PVM VGA2Component seeing 720p?
Well I tried my N64 with BortiAdvanced installed, it can upscale to 720p. Didn't get support there, so I imagine this PVM is just 480i max.

PVM VGA2Component seeing 720p?
A little mystified, but probably overestimating the results of my PVM seeing the MiSTer.ini file I've installed. My set up: PVM-1455OM (OM, not the common 1454QM.) This is a rare Hospital Grade PVM.. so I'm hoping I lucked out and found a Monitor supporting higher resolutions i.e 720p etc. I used the MiSTer.ini generator to create my .ini file: htt...

Re: NES Controller Issues
I haven't used any other control pads for this MiSter. I can try to remove the joypad mapping anyways. It's unusual because I had some .nes files prior to putting this pack in the NES folder, and those .nes had no issues with the pad. The pack includes multiple folders inside the NES folder, and FDS games. I wasn't able to play the ROMs in the new ...

NES Controller Issues
I'm using a SNS30 by 8BitDO, and downloaded a NES pack with .nes and .fds games. When I place the ROMs and boot up, I can boot games fine, but after calibrating my SNS30 pad, the D-Pad only moves left. I don't have forward movement or 'A' button support even though its' been calibrated. The controller works for all other Cores. I updated the .rbt t...

How To Load FDS Games
Noob to the NES platform, just got my MiSTer in a few days ago. Still waiting on my SN-30 Dongle. I've got NES games loading with no issues. I tried to follow the instruction on the Wiki for FDS games but running in to some trouble. Once I downloaded the boot0.rom BIOS, and put it in to the NES folder, i do get the FDS main screen (Please Set Disk ...
