Re: EIZO EV2460-BK 24" 60Hz display enough?
Thank you, but G-Sync (Nvidia) or FreeSync (AMD) only works with the monitor, when the graphic card supports this technology. Mister doesnt have either of them and this display Is ONLY for the mister, nothing else will ever be connected to this display. I tested the Mister with my Eizo CS2740 4K monitor at 60Hz and it works fine. So it should work ...

Thank you. Is that important for a correct ratio like 4:3? Never heard of that before.

EIZO EV2460-BK 24" 60Hz display enough?
Hello, I am looking for a display for my MiSTer up to 300€. As I know EIZO from my job as a designer I know EIZO very well and appreciate its quality since 12 years. I compared the budget monitor EV2460-BK to other recommended displays from Acer, LG, etc. They may have more Hz but do I need more than 60Hz in this case? Most old school devices dont ...

Re: After MiSTer OS Update there are two revisions shown
Thank you so much, thats exactly what I was wondering about. I did use the update-all updater the whole time, so I always wondered about these two numbers, where there actually only is "1" OS. So both are correct installed, right?

After MiSTer OS Update there are two revisions shown
Hello, after a couple of month I updated the MiSTer via update-all, which worked out ok as usual. After resetting there are two revisions of the system shown in the start screen, MISTERer v201213, OS 200908 (the one from which I started). There was no error message. What I did, I replaced the updater file in the /scripts section "update_all.sh...

Re: BTTF 2 crashes on startup at WHDLoad
Thank you all for sharing your experience. So should I wait for an update? It crashes on any .hdf collection so I guess they all used the same source files for that. Ironically I only tried to get the minimig started on Mister because of BTTF2+3. I also try them on NES and C64. I followed the instructions by Pezz 82 on YouTube https://www.youtube.c...

BTTF 2 crashes on startup at WHDLoad
I installed the kickstart31.rom in my amiga folder and then tried 3 different hard disc images with games: AGS2.hdf, boot.hdf and games.hdf. All have 4,2GB of content and by trying out some of the games, they seem to work. But Back To The Future II always crashes at the startup. I only could started Level 1 once, then never again. The whdload crash...

Re: Shortcut for System Settings Menu
Yes, FN+F12 is for the Core menu after a core was loaded. But then you cannot go to the system settings via ESC for scripts, global joystick settings. That only works after a reboot from what I found out. So my question still is, is rebooting the only choice here?

Shortcut for System Settings Menu
Is there a shortcut or F-Button to get back to the main system settings menu without resetting every time? I mean the window when you push ESC after the overview of the cores to set global joystick settings etc. I don't get how come back to the very beginning, once I am in a core and I only can choose another core but not the original menu overview.

Mapped controllers lose their connection after reset
I finally figured out how to pair and map my recently purchased controllers SN30pro BT + M30 2.4GhZ with the mister. BUT: After a Reset the connection to the controllers are lost again, although the settings of the controllers are saved in the config / inputs folder. I have to do a hard restart and do the pairing and mapping all over again. Its not...

USB or wireless keyboard and which one?
Hello, right now I use my apple keyboard for some operations with the mister but I need something only for the device. As I have many problems to keep the wireless connection of my 8Bitdo controllers I think its not a good idea to wireless with a usb keyboard incl. mouse. Are there any recommendations where the key layout fits c64 / amiga demand? W...

Does it make any difference in performance when choosing a SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro instead of Ultra? Sometimes there are good daily deals.

Re: New Power Supply for the MiSTer Digital Edition
Ok, thank you. So I need at least 2 A and go up high is I want as long as the device has the 5V? Think I will take this Meanwell, too.
But your device needs and additional cable for the right domestic plug, right? This is only the power supply.

New Power Supply for the MiSTer Digital Edition
Hello, i received my Mister today and it includes a Standard 5V 2A Power Supply by L.T.E. with a US plug. Now I want to replace this supply for a one piece EU plug Version without using a travel adapter. My mister has the additional USB board and I want to connect a WiFi usb dongle and 2 8bitdo dongles for my wireless controllers. Also the Noctua f...

Re: Are these 3 8Bitdo bluetooth controllers working with one single usb adapter?
Thank you all for your input. In the meantime 8Bitdo answered the question, which controller is the newer revision but im still not sure if 2.4 Ghz controllers are right for Mister as they are advertised exlusively for the Classic Minis. 8BitDo give no information for third party products like the mister What I have in mind now (if it works) is the...

Re: 8Bitdo - Are these 3 controllers working with one usb adapter?
Thank you, yes I contacted them in the meantime and they are not compatible. Maybe the Bluetooth version, but I read somewhere that 2.4 is more stable than Bluetooth, but not sure about that. Would only be 2m away from the device. When the 2.4g controller are not compatible to one single adapter, does anybody know if these bluetooth controllers are...

Are these 3 8Bitdo bluetooth controllers working with one single usb adapter?
Hello, just quick and short, I purchased the Ultimate Mister Pro Digital Edition from Ricardo (ultimatemister.com) and now I want to buy the 8Bitdo controllers in the meantime, while the shipment is on the road. Im insecure and asking because they are advertised for use with the Classic Minis in the first place. So i am after these 3 beauties here,...
