Re: MiSTer Extensions

I use arbitrary labels on my ini and it works without problem.

Some tags are writable only one time, and further writes Will corrupt the data (213 i Think, the one used for amiibos).

Try running nfc.sh and Scan the tag to see what error it throws.

Re: MiSTer Extensions

Unfortunately, nothing worked, even though I'm using the latest nfc.sh and restarted the service after updating. I was able to load a random SNES game, so commands do work and I believe I'm using the right syntax. With that said, I see the script is still being worked on, and that a script from sigboe is being created to have some sort of GUI. I'm...

Re: MiSTer Extensions

I have a question regarding the ini switching via NFC. I've been able to load games via the cards, but not switching inis. I made sure to use the latest script, and I made a few NFC cards where I entered the text as described in the github ( **ini:1 ) but when I tap them, I get some kind of error beeps and nothing happens. I don't know if it matte...

What N64 release date? Haven't checked for some days, maybe the N64 RBF setname has changed for reasons. Will have a look at weekend.

found it.

Congrats, but maybe it'd be helpful for others to tell us what you've found (and fixed)? ;)

I would guess it didn't load because the .gsc is named 000-N64

Great work with the NFC script!
Is there a way to send a command to switch ini file via NFC?
It would be great to be able to switch ini with a card if I switch TV.

What are the best settings for PSX core so it stops dropping video signal all the time?

A quality cable, really. I had the same problem until i bought a quality cable.

Normally, it Will drop signal each time it changes resolution

Ok, I tried your settings but the colors seemed bland and washed out.
I looked through my screen settings and realised I had turned HDR off so I turned it back to auto and now it looks great

Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄

I've been experimenting with HDR output a bit, these are the settings that work well with my USB-C version: hdr=2 (the display doesn't respond to mode 1, with mode 2 the display reports HDR in the status information in its menu and brightness can no longer be adjusted) I didn't really notice much of a difference adjusting these parameters, so they...

So I am trying to make my own image, but I get Data Transfer Error when trying to load the system.

I have followed the guide at https://github.com/venice1200/MiSTer_tt ... d_GSC_Gimp but I guess i must be missing something?
I have attached my settings and the resulting file:

Seems like there already is a fix for this, i guess it'll come in the next update: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/NES_MiSTer/pull/360

thank you roundy07 for testing. I did not know that about CV3, maybe they thought us europeans couldn't handle the difficulty so they lowered it :)

The reason for wanting to use the PAL version is that i am from the PAL region and I grew up with PAL games. I am interested to know if anyone else has this problem with an verified good dump with iNES 2.0 header, if so, then it should be reported as a bug. iNES header i am using is (in HEX): 4E 45 53 1A 10 10 50 08 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 01 The ROM ...

Castlevania III European PAL Version Glitching

When trying the PAL version of Castlevania III - Dracula's Curse, I notice that there are graphical glitches. The cross selector at the title screen and Trevor Belmont praying in front of the big have graphical errors, and the first level are a complete graphical mess and the background doesn't move. I have verified that the ROM indeed are a PAL ve...

I see, well knowing aliexpress, the specs could be wrong, and the option may be some kind of pseudo hdr.

Either way, i disabled autoHDR and used the settings I found here (for another screen, but I think they worked well on this display too): viewtopic.php?p=75649#p75649

I am quite happy with how it looks now!

Alas, can't get it work with the one nor the other way @jca suggested. The <file> way isn't working at all, maybe of core's missing/incomplete CONF_STR and while the <setname> way should work, saving the config isn't saving a mounted floppy image, only HDD images. Hopeless for now :( Ok, so I am not completly crazy then not getting it to work! I g...

I am just guessing now, but for the Hi-Fi Blaster addon, you had to flip a dipswitch on the DE10 Nano for it to work, maybe it is thje same for the MT32-Pi?

I would like to suggest a namechange in the pictures. GAMEBOY should be renamed GBC and GB should be renamed GAMEBOY.
As it is now, when I load a GameBoy game the display says GameBoy Color and vice versa since there is a GameboyColor.mgl with setname GBC.

Re: Can't get MiSTer to put out a good picture through VGA- Scart cable

have you set the jumper to 5V on the analogue out board?

https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Wiki_Mi ... i/IO-Board

Its the part close to vga out where it says VGA PWR, change the jumper so its on the 5V + middle.
If you don't have it, like in the picture, then it's time for some soldering.
