Slap Fight bootleg

Hello community!

I noticed in the game Slapfight there is the option to save High Scores however it does not work.

Anyone uses this option and got it to work?

regards,
Lex

Re: Problems with JAMMIX + some arcade cores

Hi! This is a tricky problem. I switched from normal mister setup to Jammix some time ago. I tried to use the old sd card and changed some lines in the mister ini (as shown in the Jammix instructions manual) but ran into some issues. I think the best thing would be to make a new fresh setup and add the lines in mister ini you need for the Jammix se...

Remapping of Buttons

Hello! The jamma standard has got 4 buttons for player one and player two. When navigating through the mister menu I need to press either the space bar or return on a keyboard in order to select an option. There is the remap keyboard function in the mister menu. My question is - is it possible to remap the return or space function from the keyboard...

Van van car high score save

Hello community! Got a question about the game van van car. Game works no problem but even though high score save is implemented it does not save high score. As I understand it runs on pacman hardware. With pacman itself and ms pacman high score save works. Observation : high score save is on - when I quit the game it states saving on the screen I ...

Re: Help Troubleshooting Some Jammix Issues

Hello Gibins! In case you haven´t solved the problem here is my approach to solve the problem. Go to Mister main menu and configure all essential buttons and directions you need for your cab. Also assign the actual coin button of your cab to "start" in mister main configuration. I am not quite sure where I assigned the actual start of the...

MiSTer Jammix Speaker Connection

Hello! Can someone who is using Mister jammix tell me whats the correct way to connect speakers to mister Jammix. I am using Fostex speaker with 8 ohm - mister jammix is set to mono. Do I simply connect speaker + and speaker - to the loudspeaker or is it necessary to ground the negative terminal of the speaker. What is the correct jumper setting re...

Mister Jammix button delay

Hello! I assembled the Mister Jammix and came across the following weird observation. When you start a core everything works fine within the game as far as buttons etc is concerned. However when you reboot the same core again neither the start nor the coin button will work immediately. It takes some time for the core to "warm up" and afte...

Jammix Button & Led Header

Hello guys! I have got a question about the Mister Jammix Button & Led Header. I would need the user button for defining controls in the mister osd menu. Therefore it is necessary to make a connection with the jammix header (which is 2 rows of 8 pins which is 16 in total) and bridge one pair with a microswitch (which has the function of the use...

Jammix power supply

Hello guys! I have got a special question for the technician between you. I just assembled jammix from Ricardo and switched it on. I made sure that i use a strong power supply and measured nearly 5V from the power supply terminals. When the unit is connected and switched on I measure around 4.8 V at the terminals of the jammix edge connector (betwe...

Ultimate JAMMIX

Hi friends! I purchased an Ultimate Jammix rev2 for Mister FPGA in order to turn my cab into jamma standard. The goal is to simplify connections so that I can easily install the Mister as well as original arcade pcbs on the fly. There are so many amazing product now available it is hard to make a choice but I think this one above is pretty good. He...

Re: Arkanoid 2 - Revenge of doh

It´s funny how simple things can be sometimes - to change the settings in the menu of the core like you do with a real pcb is logical on the one hand but on the other hand you have to become aware of this possibility - most of the time you do it with dip switches on the pcb

thanks spacecowboy420 - very brilliant

Re: Fast Lane

Hi!

Thanks for confirming this. I have already told Jotego about this issue and he said he will take care of it but this will take some time for sure.

I wonder if anyone still has got the "working" core with the sfx - it used to work before

Jotego has many good cores in the works the question is when they will pop up but also old cores have to be fixed due to movement to another respiratory This fpga stuff is very time intensive and complicated and I have to give all the programmers a big thank you to make this evev possible I really do appreciate the slap fight core by A. Re: Fast Lane

Ok let´s do it differently and make it more simple

Could someone who is owning a mister try this core out and confirm?

I used the former rbf core and the mra which is on Jotegos patreon side and all of the sounds work but the graphics are corrupt

Therefore it cannot be a hardware issue - can someone confirm this?

regards

Fast Lane

Anyone else notices missing sounds in the game fast lane?

Some sound effects are missing for example when you crash with the girls or the car itself moving

Other sounds and the music is ok - it used to work perfectly before what is going on here?

Re: Wishlist of Cores You Would Like to See in the Future

I would like to see the following cores in the near future Juno First Battlantis Pacmania Sky Shark!! / Twin Hawk / Twin Cobra Pandoras Palace (fun game) Dragon Spirit Galaga 88 I guess there are some more classic games but these are the one I remember from playing in mame. As far as latency is concerned I think mister is really close to the origin...

Tiger Heli & Slap Fight Sound Issues

Hello guys! Just want to know if anyone else encountered some weird sound issues with slap fight and tiger heli. Both games work fine but the sound is strange. Re: JT Friday Feb 17, 2023

You are absolutely right - complaining does not solve problems and I appreciate the cores that have been developed. I am only a little disappointed about certain points and I used to be a patreon. It is what it is and you are right if you are not satisfied you have to develop your own cores. End of story. Regards

Re: JT Friday Feb 17, 2023

I agree with you guys. Not sure whats going on here. The whole thing started out from classical arcade games but now its heading into some mysterious direction. There are so many games still untouched from that era (mainly 80s) and those cores which have already been released would highly need some aftercare to fix obvious bugs (for example Moon pa...

Hello Jimmy! Thanks so much for giving this a go - you are awesome. I am redesigning my control panel from my self-build arcade machine at the moment and making it perfect. I can´t wait to test this when I am finished. No matter what you do there are two main factors connected - DETAIL and detail takes time (which we believe we don´t have). Nice gr...

Hi Jimmy! Yes would be nice if you could give this a second try. Meanwhile I will swap the physical plug for the yoke wires when I want to flip the picture upsidedown which is a matter of seconds but not all monitors have this feature. But playing these old classics over HDMI is a no go for me. Its like driving an oldimer with a flight stick which ...
