Re: MiSTer Core Dev Episode 11: RAM ROM Test

I've enjoyed watching your videos, I like how you provide learning resources / books to topics you discuss for futher learning.

I was reading a book recently about trouble shooting the Apple II and it mentioned various tools like logic clips etc -

There is a program called The Visable Computer 6502 for the Apple II and C64 that is ment to be a gentle introduction to 6502 assembly, the manual for it is here -

Another course you guys might find interesting is Design A Cpu by Ross McGowan.

He designs the cpu from the book But How Do It Know by J Clark Scott in Logisim.

Re: Arcade PCB's Layout Design Book

Andre who wrote that book has an electronics course on Udemy.

https://www.udemy.com/course/crash-cour ... cb-design/

I think he throws in a pdf of the book with the course.

Fabiens blog is also worth a browse for random hardware stuff.

Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display

I picked up one of these up recently and im pleased with it. I used the settings suggested by lamarax and it looks great - - Scenery preset on the monitor. - SL_Br_130_060_Soft on mister filter - Poly gamma setting 2.7 on mister I also copied RevolvingDorks mister.ini and was scratching my head as to why there was no audio, I had to change dvi_mode...

I picked up one of these a while ago but it produces a high pitched whine noise so its back in storage, ive never repaired a monitor before so no idea whats causing it.

Re: What is the best option for a low latency arcade stick?

I was going to use a Demonbite or a Brook universal for mine.

Another option could be to buy a decent used stick and stick a Demonbite in it.

Here is a good video for different case options if you want to diy.
