Re: Show Us Your MiSTers

Custom re-print of the Official MMS case with a different Amiga style rear panel. Printed in “Bone” PLA with generic Amazon brown PLA for the small parts. I was going for a Commodore vibe for it. This was the first big project for my new printer so I’m very happy with it. IMG_0599.jpeg What brand is the "bone" PLA? That looks like a real...

Because you can’t take the MiSTer everywhere with you.

Awesome! How did you get this working?

It's FS-UAE pointed at the AmigaVision disk images. FS-UAE is configured as an A1200 with 8 meg of ram. You can assign the DEL key and ESC key to buttons on the steamdeck controller.

I’ve got this running on unraid now. I can’t get over how well it works. I heartily recommend it, especially if they already have a server in place, it runs really well in a VM.

If the issue is that the tapes don't appear to load, don't forget to hit space once you press play on the tape. I've successfully loaded wav files from an audio player this way.

I'm not sure how interested anyone would be but MegaAGS runs beautifully using fs-uae on the Steamdeck.

I'm also really enjoying the mt32 games that have been added. Thanks Limi and Optiroc. Good to hear that! I fixed those games to work with the MT-32, for the MegaAGS pack. A few of them already had a WHDLoad option for that. I tried to get those games working with my Amiga in the nineties, when I had an actual MT-32, but never succeeded. I had bee...

I'm quite liking it, I 3d printed a little stand and attached it to my acrylic case with some standoffs. It's all quite neat.

Re: MiSTerCade DE10 swap help

I've removed my nano from multiple IO boards and transplanted it into different cases multiple times. The trick is even pressure and go slow. Try not to bend your pins so as you remove it keep it as flat as possible. As others have said, remove everything from the nano first, check the ports on the nano before removing everything and it should be f...

Right. Mines here and assembled. Case feels nice and solid and both sides mate really well. Assembly is simple but can be fiddly when routing cables but it's very neat when put together. All in all I'm very happy with it.

Has Anyone Got ADC Working In C64

I know it had been added but for the life of me I can't get it work. The C64 will start to load the tape .wav and then it'll fail. I'm using a high quality audio player and it works fine for the speccy and amstrad cores. Has anyone had any luck with this? Thanks all.

Code: Select all

DD if=/dev/zero of=/media/fat/games/Amiga/hd0.hdf bs=1 count=0 seek=512M
Downside is the file is sparse so can contain deleted junk from the file system, but, once set up in AmigaOS, would work fine for this kind of situation.
Thanks for that, I'll drop it in my script if you don't mind.

Because I'm not a very good scripter? :D

Let me fix it.

EDIT, Fixed, it should create it directly now and skip the move step
