Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display

This monitor looks amazing and I was very close to pulling the trigger, but have been thinking if I want a 1440p display. This display (PA248QV) seems near perfect for the MiSTer since nearly everything is 240p at 5x scale. However I do sometimes use the scandoubler to smooth the image (which makes it 480p) and also own a dreamcast (with DC HDMI) w...

Re: Neo Geo CPU Overclocking?

A different patch, this time with only the CPU overclocked to 24MHz. It seems to remove some subtle visual glitches in Metal Slug 2. Not sure if this affects the performance negatively compared to the previous patch (which overclocks more components). Wow, this thing is amazing, thanks so much for this, this makes a massive difference in Metal Slu...

Re: Problem setting up mt32-Pi hat

I also have issues with distortion when trying to power the mt32-Pi via just the USB. As soon as I use an external power source everything is fine, but it is annoying as I then need to physically unplug the mt32-pi when not in use. So far I've tried two different USB3 cables and still have the same issue with both. My Mister was purchased from mist...

Re: MiSTerFPGA.co.uk

I have now received a fair few emails asking for some advance notification on when the next batch of mt32-pi HATs will be on sale, as they sold out so quickly last time. This next batch consists of 30 units of each OLED colour screen version (white, blue, yellow). Hi Nat, I've just received the mt32-pi hat from you, I'm very pleased with this cute...

Re: HOW TO: setup Total DOS Frontend packages on AO486.

Thanks for this, that certainly helps. I've since been able to have some success using your v17 pack and extracting the cds from ExoDOS with the converter. I think my expectation was everything would just straight up work but it seems that isn't the case yet. Changing .img files to .iso has help resolve some I was struggling with. Is there any way ...

Re: HOW TO: setup Total DOS Frontend packages on AO486.

I've been trying to follow the youtube guide but cannot quite manage to get it to work, if anyone can help that would be much appreciated. Using this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVBkEm0lGsI I think there are a few steps that aren't exactly clear, perhaps I need to watch the earlier videos? If you could help me out that would be much appre...
