Re: MiSTer With I-PAC2 Works With Some Cores and Not Others (Pacman)

Have you added the required ini changes for the ipac. If you search around you will find them and can copy paste them in.

Re: Just Can’t Get I-PAC2 to Work Any Alternatives?

Hi there, I've been using an ipac for awhile after you setup player 1 it will ask if you want to set up alternate controls. When you select yes it will run through setup again but this time its for player 2. Have you done this?

Ah yes I will give that a go first. Honestly it has been so long since I built the original control panel I don't know what I'm doing anymore. Thanks again for loaning me your brain for a moment :)

Re: Tutorial: How to set up your MiSTer with a J-PAC/I-PAC

I'll probably just go ahead with 2 arduinos for the control panel and then the two blutooth controllers for players 3 and 4.

Re: Tutorial: How to set up your MiSTer with a J-PAC/I-PAC

Thank you for all the information, very useful going forward. What I have is old groovymame arcade cabinet, inside of which I have switched the PC for a MiSTer. The control panel is two player NeoGeo style connected to a minipac. After making the relevant changes to the .ini file everything worked for two players brilliantly. I added a blutooth don...

Re: Tutorial: How to set up your MiSTer with a J-PAC/I-PAC

Does anybody know a way to add a player 3 and 4 when using an ipac? When I connect another controller it gets mapped as player 2 again Only player 1 and 2 are supported as far as I know. If you want four players, you would need four "joystick" devices connected (and possibly four USB connections unless the USB device can provide four sep...

Re: Are PVMs still unique?

If you are in Europe like me there is no point in getting a pvm unless you find one for free or cheap. I kept an eye on free ads in my area and picked up a Sony trinitron kv-29x5l. With proper rgb cables it looks better than my pvm in my opinion. Panasonic and phillips crt tvs also display rgb signals beautifully to my eye but I always prefer the s...

Re: About metal jesus rocks video

Is everybody else watching a different video?

I don't know of this guy but the video seems fine and overwhelmingly positive towards the MiSTer and the community. He comes across like a nice dude just giving his honest opinion. Whats going on here?

It is possible. I use ao486 on my trinitron all the time. The games look great.

Re: Problem displaying on CRT (Neo Geo Core)

The scandoubler fix is set to none, so that should be the correct setting in the core options I suppose? Thx all for your reply, I will try to change my settings accordingly. When I first hooked my mister up to my crt the genesis core would not sync. I eventually realised that I had messed around with the scandoubler once while it was hooked up to...
