Re: AmigaVision (MegaAGS) 2023.07.17 Released with Improved Launcher Reliability

We are happy to announce that the latest release of AmigaVision/MegaAGS is available! AmigaVision is the ultimate, open source Amiga setup for MiSTer and Analogue Pocket FPGAs, emulators, and real hardware. This is a very minor update to the recent major [2023.06.06 release] that focuses on improving reliability of loading thumbnail previews in th...

Re: New 8bitdo Official NeoGeo Controller

Why should it? It is the same as the OG NeoGeo CD Controller. Nothing to do with the Mini ones. Maybe I didn't express correctly, this 8bitdo has too much travel before the clicks similar to the mini garbage https://www.reddit.com/r/fightsticks/comments/15t60cs/i_was_so_excited_for_the_new_8bitdo_neogeo_pad/ Big no for me ;) I just had a look at t...

Re: New 8bitdo Official NeoGeo Controller

No it's not, it has deadzone travel before the click like the mini and unlike the original cd pad

In fact I am just reading from the other guy "For arcade shooters, the engage is slightly large", it has always been the case but the og was much tighter

PS I have the og I had the mini and a modded mini

It has the same lame deadzone as the mini pad right ? It's not stiff and immediately clicky like the first model I heard ? I guess the only positive out of this system is that not counting region variants, there's less than 400 games and probably less than 200 worth playing.

99% of PAL crt can do NTSC without any issue, you probably have to troubleshoot elsewhere

Gran Turismo 2 60 FPS Cheat

Hello guys, not very familiar with PS1 or Cheat codes either, I have heard there is the possibility to play GT 2 with 60fps, but that cheat code is not on the long list I have available within Mister cheats, I have found some gamesharq codes online, is there a way to convert those for Mister ? I have seen a page for converting but Gamesharq was not...

@Duffygag flat panels from the 2020's will never equate a CRT from the 1980's. Just move on already and keep using a CRT. You are apparently not the target audience for this particular feature. Bas we are discussing and sharing opinions on a forum, if you are not interested, don't tell me what I should be interested on and move along, you are appa...

Sometimes I am shocked about threads on Reddit and videos of retro youtubers (with the usual abysmal following) pushing this new features like the holy graal...

I mean it's great having more options, but is anyone with functioning eyes really thinking that these abominations, are on pair or even remotely comparable to what a crt look like?

Re: Release DE10 Nano Overclock Kernel BETA

Very cool development! Just curious about the possibilities. Does this mean that some cores that were impossible may be more realistic (a.k.a. N64; which I know is a longshot due to it requiring too much memory, but maybe a hybrid approach is possible with this), or is it more likely that it'll just be a performance boost for existing and new core...
