DS? He said it wasn't possible before but he is more experienced now and probably has more tricks up his sleeves.

That's a relief. Mostly for the fact we no know he's still out there and ok as the circumstances allow. I don't mind lack of core updates as long as he let's the world know he's alright.

Might be a silly question, but what exactly is TSconf? Is it a Speccy clone? Or more than that?

In the interface page that shows ip address and lets you run scrips, you didn't switch from SD to USB did you?

This is a documented bug. I'm sure Robert will solve it in good time.

Re: About the temperatures of this new PSX core
No problems here. I was doing some power usage measurements recently and saw maybe a small amount of higher power usage with the PSX core, but nothing significant (power usage ~ heat). I'm interested to know your results. This is a fpga thing a lot of people don't cover or seem to care about - that fpga uses a LOT less power than emulation, so it'...

It looks really good. Are there any plans for this on MiSTer as well as Uno? I imagine a lot of us here only have the one fpga option to run things on, like myself. (Until my ZX Next finally comes with it's possible spartan-7 according to the latest kickstarter update)

I tried a couple of games (namely Revolter and Alpha) and it seems that the music plays a little slower than intended. At least when I compare to these games' OSTs as they're heard on YouTube, since I don't have the real hardware to compare.
Am I doing something wrong?

This happened to be also - because a shadowmask had been renamed or removed in the update.
I think I had copied some on manually at first and removed them after I downloaded all the packs with update all.

I guess it make sense to have them bundled if this implementation is superior, but yes it would be nice to have it as a separate machine too just for completeness sake. I know it's not a big issue though if we can play all the games as they were intended.

Will this be backported to the stand alone 2600 emulator, assuming any of it is needed? I haven't really dived into these systems.

I don't know about all the CPS3 hype but the thing I'm most excited about in this thread is the stuff he's working on right now - NG Pocket. We nearly have all the great handhelds when this one is out.

Re: Wishlist of Cores You Would Like to See in the Future
This is a pretty out there suggestion maybe, and don't know if it's even possible, but it would be good to have a (pre-smartphone) phone core to play all those pretty much forgotten J2ME games like Doom RPG and Rollercoaster Rush.
You could play them on a keyboard numpad to get the original feel, or map inputs to a controller too I guess.
