How do I exit a game with a gamepad if not using the option LT+RT+PAUSE?

You could use the button remapping feature in the core menu. Remap on of the buttons you are not using for Amiga to the 'Delete' key (or which ever key you have set for exiting games.

Re: Mapping Keyboard to Gamepad?

This would be useful and I'm not aware of a persistent feature like this (I only answer here as no one else has so far). I usually map my second button to [space bar] on the c64 games as that was a very well used key in most games and playing on mister, I often don't want a keyboard on my lap (plus it was always awkward and just made me jealous of ...

Re: Batman the Movie on MegaAGS/Amiga Vision

I played this one through many times with the cracked version I had back in the day, and to my recollection it was not prone to crashing. Maybe the WHDL installer can use several versions.. Worth investigating perhaps. sometimes cracked versions also contained fixes, I've not heard this about this game though, I will investigate over the weekend. ...

at least it's not as bad as Robocop on the C64... "it's broken, need to ship and it's not happening, let's just make the previous level impossible to complete in the time provided"

Re: Batman the Movie on MegaAGS/Amiga Vision

Thanks for confirming this, I'm gonna try to find an ADF and try that when I have the time, if that fails, I will (some day, as it's a pain with my setup) rip an ADF (is that the lingo that kids use these days) from the disk I have.

Batman the Movie on MegaAGS/Amiga Vision

Firstly, I really love having the convenience of this package and not having to use my original hardware and disks more than necessary, thanks to @limi and all that put the work in to this. Now I fired up one of my old favorites 'Batman the Movie' the other week and got all the way to the last level, then half way up the cathedral the game just cra...

Quick reply as I need sleep and this could be a long convo. Assembly language is absolutely designed to be humanly readable, although you may find many people using the terms ASM and machine language/code interchangeably it's not the same. However, it is close because ASM is a low level language that is 'assembled' (rather than compiled) directly t...

Re: Amiga 68030/40?

It certainly should be possible for a 68030 or 040 Amiga implementation to fit on the FPGA on the DE10-nano, however (having had only the briefest look at this a while back) putting that in the MiniMig on MiSTer is another matter. Wouldn't say never, but there seems to be more interest in hybrid-emulation now also which probably steals any desire f...

One worry I have is the DPI - 1600! In that era, 300 dpi was pretty standard. Unless your emulator du jour has the ability to scale, this thing is going to end up being an uncontrollable twitchfest. :/ This question was repeated on the kickstarter project forum ( https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lukas-remis/tank-mouse-your-new-amiga-mouse/comm...

Re: Feature Request Add .Tap File Counter (Datassatte Counter) and Jump to the Correct Position

Seems like a worthwhile cause. I guess right now, most people will be using the .crt files which have been lovingly compiled by StatMat, but for the sake of preservation, from an archivist perspective this idea has value surely. Lots of us in Europe used the tape 'feature' on Ocean multi load games... ;)

Amiga Inspired Tank Wireless Mouse

I guess this post belongs here as it's Amiga themed and not 'official' hardware. This looks perfect for my MiSTer needs and I just thought that some fellow Amiga fans on MiSTer might be interested in this too. These days I'm super cautious of kickstarter type campaigns, but this looks to be fairly straightforward and genuine (with the obvious risks...
