After a full day of playing with my MiSTer, I'm as giddy as a child with a new toy. I suppose I am. Only thing that confuses is me is that when I boot up into a workbench environment - the mouse and keyboard I attached via a USB hub don't work. They work in other cores, and oddly, in games that don't use DOS - Populous 2 was one of the first I tried.

I don't seem to be able to get audio on any of the cores I've tried - using optical, or copper stereo audio wire with a pair of 3.5mm jacks. Should the LED that's used for digital audio visibly flicker, or at least look dim, if it's flashing a few thousand times a second ? Given I soldered it myself, it's very possible I screwed something up. Switc...

I giggled like a child, when I brought up SunView....brought back old memories.

How hard would it be, to get networking going ? Is this a problem that'd impact most projects ?
