I'm sure others have commented here - but I've just got the latest core for this and all I get is a garbled type screen. If you have gamma correction enabled, try disabling it. I had some similar issues with it enabled. Thx for the quick answer - unfortunately not the case here. Reset all the settings too, did not solve the issue. Same issue here....
