Are you testing with the Mega Drive core or the Genesis core?

The Mega Drive core resolved this issue last I tested. It was the same problem that Total Football had with the Genesis core, it was very likely a bus arbiter timing problem.

I was refering to the genesis-core.

If you reset the game after selecting language, that god awful sound won’t appear anymore.

Re: Best video presets for a LG 55' C1 OLED?

I have a C1 and use the following settings: Horz filter: GS_sharpness_60 Vert filter: SLA_DK_70_BR_80 Gamma: Poly 2.4 Shadow mask: Complex(multichromatic)/CRT styles/subpixel RGB(common)/ Consumer Tv (genetic) To me at least it compares pretty good to my panasonic CRT with on RGB. I Also use BFI on my C1 which darkens the image a bit so your milage...

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Can someone please tell me how I change from CD1 to CD2 with the Saturn? Thanks The original Saturn hardware did a reset and returned to the menu when opening the drive door, so any multi CD games had to save before changing the disc. On the core you can simply mount the second disc and reset. If I remember correctly (been quite a few years) Deep ...

Upgraded my 2.5 to a 3.0 from Riccardo and it got rid of that nasty sound issue where the music would just simply cut out after a minute or two.

I played through Arc The Lad I like a month ago. No problem with saving here. Have you tried deleting/renaming the memory card and let the core make a new one?

Why the need to config p2 controllers?

I had not updated my mister for a while, and now when I did for some reason almost every arcade core I try I also need to enter the inputs for player 2 if I want to change the button config. This is very annoying since I neither have a second controller or a keyboard connected. Is there some way to change it back to how it was earlier? Like every c...

Re: Cannot Load .chd with CDZ Setting

However it created another "problem". The Unibios overrides the regional setting available in the Core options, the Asia setting was really convinient as it allowed to have english text but retain blook in MS games. Asia region is not available in Unibios, only JP, EU, US, BR. Remember that Unibios was derived from MVS orignally. Unlike ...

I had some weird sound issues in FFVII as well. Happened a few times where the reactor-music was playing. Sounded like a sound channel was missing. The solution for me was to do a cold reboot.

Weird Graphic Glitch

So ever since I updated from 22.05.02 to a newer version I tend to get som är weird graphical glitch when games charges screens. It’s especially noticable in Symphony Of The Night. I remember someone on here having a similair problem, but I can’t find that post anymore. Here is a short clip of what I mean: https://www.veed.io/view/ab1ed9b7-40d1-4ff...

I’m probably one of the few who mainly loads tape images on the c64 core. The load screens and the music makes the nostalgia factor even greater. A datassatte adapter would be cool, but I doubt my old tapes still works 😅

I am in no way expecting anyone to do anything for me. My CDZ works just fine (but as everyone knows lasers do get worn out). But if anyone ever decides to make the core I’m not going...

That is it, all that is were missing from the Neo geo CD, just the one game. And believe me you aren't missing much. But it’s not just ”that one game” now is it. Quite a few of the CD-games are enhanced in one way or another. Turfmasters has the Scotland course, Metal Slug has the combat school, Real bout Special has Blue Mary’s music video. Not t...

I could never get Wi-Fi to work properly. Tried a few dongles and they would always disconnect after a few minutes. Really annoying when updating the mister. After a lot of searching I stumbled across this device which uses the Ethernet port instead of USB. And now my connection is rock solid. Link to the one I bought: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07P...

Re: CAVE 68000 Any News for MiSTer

I never hot-swap, I always reboot. But sometimes (when menu wallpaper is enabled) the screen glitches out when doing a normal reboot, and I need to do a cold reboot. (This never happens on my crt where I don’t have wallpaper enabled) That is what the new update is fixing, right? Regarding the cave core I have never gotten it to work, fresh start or...

Re: CAVE 68000 Any News for MiSTer

Have you waited enough for the core to boot? Some times it takes a good 10-15 seconds. Try the Japanese rom first. Also try cold restarting the MiSTer, then launch again. @nullobject is aware of the issues and is working to resolve them. Yup, I even gave it a few minutes. 😛 I’ll give it a few more tries later tonight, especially the japanese rom. ...

Yes, all other neo geo roms seem to work, even the bad Apple-demo. I bought my mister from ultimatemister.com in november so i’m using the 128mb sdram module that Riccardo’s using in his misters.
