Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

I wonder if it would be possible to have a full screen option in the future on the saturn core? I use a 240p/120hz modeline for my monitor which looks incredible but it does require the option for full screen otherwise the screen is squished, most cores have this option and it really looks fantastic but saturn is one that doesnt so i have to play i...

So ive moved my mister from my arcade cab, back to my CRT monitor - i get display no problem but when im loading any core that isnt an arcade core - the mister goes to just a red light on the mister and a blank screen.

Ive never seen this before so im completely puzzled by it, does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

out of sync on amiga and atari st cores

Im having a bit of a problem with atari st and amiga cores - when i load them up they say they are out of sync. I thought it was not using a scandoubler that was the problem but when i put that on it still happens. When i dont have the scandoubler on my x68000 core works perfectly on the display, when i put it on it messes it up. I have a phillips ...

Correct CHD Pack on archive.org?

I downloaded from archive.org the Sega Saturn CHD US 2020 pack - i cant get any of them to run on the new unstable core - they show up for loading the chd but just get the "drive bay open" problem.

Can someone recommend another pack that has working files?

In my case, it always says the drive door is open and it doesn't load anything :(

I have a lot of files that i downloaded where it says that - try a different rom, i downloaded off archive org the entire japanese romset and none of them work with the core, however if i download some of the games from a different source, they all work.

Has anyone had any luck with getting rumble to work on a variety of controllers? All of mine do not vibrate at all.

was rumble not something that came a bit later with the pack, so not all games support it.

Re: Nintendo 64 Input Situation

Currently I'm using an Xbox One controller. I'm only playing StarFox atm, will play snowboard kids and report back. I remember SBK at it's end game is more difficult on the stick than SF64. The default controls were not great and so I mapped the C-right & C-up to right stick and set A as A, X as B, B as C-down, Y as C-left. Left trigger Z, rig...

Had to swap my ram and now this is working perfectly with "MiSTer SDRAM XS-DS v3.0 128MB Module" from https://misterfpga.co.uk/. Re: N64 Core

Im having a bit of a weird issue trying to get the core running at a decent resolution on my CRT diamondtron monitor. Just a quick easy answer is to turn on forced_scandoubler=1 and turn off the scaler. You can do this under the core name. I am not sure if you are using HDMI or the analog VGA output. Something like: [n64] forced_scandoubler=1 vga_...

Has anybody used the settings from Deezdrama's video? I mean the written ones: Video Mode= 2048,40,442,200,240,3,10,8,85909 VGA Scaler= 1 Vscale= 1 Vsync= 0 (obviously correcting for proper ini syntax) For me this produces a somewhat narrow image in OSD, with black bars on left/right. In cores it's very narrow, can correct with Full Screen but sti...
