Re: Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

Pretty sure another game won't save unless you use a 'standard' C64 set up with the normal kernel, just can't remember which game off top of my head. Hence the suggestion

Re: Super Weird Issue on Knight 'n' Grail (C64)

Are you using the standard c64 kernel or Speeddos??

I would try again using the standard c64 kernel

I got it to work - pacland in all it’s glory . Not so obvious to get this to boot- knowing where files go , it does now - thank you. Breaths new life into mister !! The sharp x68000 looks so detailed, amazing

Re: X68000 beta core preview - 10/14

There is a core complied with the JT51 sound chip from Jotego available. Can't remember who did the core or which core its based on but it does run quite a lot of things reasonably well. Its a single card core too, well worth checking out. Doesn't do MT32PI from memory.

Question about the menus

If you are using VGA and HDMI at the same time, i.e hdmi screen recording, is it possible to have the menu on the VGA only?? Can you disable menu showing on the HDMI screen??

Why you may ask??? Some demos on various systems require disk changes which means opening menu and if your recording id prefer that not to happen

USB Keypads on MiSTer, do they work?

Thinking about getting a smaller keyboard and mouse for my setup as i need a little space for another project so thinking of a keyboard without a number pad but the number pad would occasionally be handy (Driving in Eye of the Beholder games etc.)

Hence a usb keypad i could get out for special occasions!!

So has anyone tried one on mister??

Loading configs

If this isn't already a thing and i don't know about it (which is likely) could we have the option in the minimig menu to toggle loading of the startup config??? I use several configs and don't always want to start the core to the same config so having the option of the core starting to the menu so i can choose which config to use would be convenie...

Sounds like you need an external DAC on your mister, tried music with mine and no defect.

DAC can make the mister shine!!

Re: Kickstart setting keeps getting lost

If you amiga forever has rom.key files you may need to run amiga forever once before copying kickstarts over as i believe amiga forever 'unlocks' the kickstart roms using the key

So it may be that mister isnt getting a valid rom, hence the errors you are seeing.

This is a guess, may not work but worth trying
