Re: Final Fight AE CPS2 Public Release

Win11 here. I've installed Java 17, the App runs just fine. I put "ffight.zip" and "sfa3.zip" in. It reports a successful rom build....but there is NOTHING in the results folders...

Re: Final Fight AE CPS2 Public Release

That's strange. Although I build the rom with the tool and it reports back "everything fine" I don't get anything in the results folder...

Re: PlayStation Core Screen Rotation

@thorr

Rotating the 65" OLED screen in my living room should be.....quite impossible (well...maybe it is, but I won't try that).
Besides I do have a rotatable NEC XP29plus BVM, but I prefer the comfort of my living room.
I don't think an option like this should be too difficult to implement (but then....what do I know?)

Re: PlayStation Core Screen Rotation

@FPGAzumSpass

Of course there is no game that requires a 90 degree rotated screen, but there are some titles that make use of a "tate mode".
In tate mode these games (mostly arcade ports) benefit from a higher resolution this way and are rotated closer to the arcade counterpart.
So...it would be nice to be able to do that.

Tate Mode?

Hi! I recently got my first experiences with this exquisit new psx core, as I came across the "rotate" option. I was expecting it would let me use games in "tate mode" that support this feature. Alas, I noticed it is just mirroring the screen (What for exactly?). I think it would be nice to have an option to rotate the screen 90...

Adding Sideart?

Hi!

Somebody told me recently it wouldn't be possible to attach sideart to mister cores. Can somebody pls explain to me why that is?
I think it would be cool to have sideart on widescreen displays like mame does.

thx

Re: Interesting Neo Geo ports

I'm getting "invalid romfile structure".
My cabal rom looks like this:
crom0
fpga
m1rom
prom
srom
vroma0

Isn't this an already for fpga converted romset??

Re: Interesting Neo Geo ports

Can someone pls tell me where to get "neobuilderui"? Although I have an account at terraonion I don't own a neo-sd, so they won't let me download any tools for it...
I would like to try cabal on my mister and maybe convert my neogeo roms to .neo format (that seems to have some advantages..?).

thx

C64 Joystick Issue

Hi! Until recently everything worked fine here with the c64 mister core. Just now I noticed that I can't "swap" the joystick ports. I have just one joystick connected to mister and it seemts that it will always register as joystick in port 2 of the c64. I've tried to connect an aditional joystick, but after that swapping the joystick in t...

Shortcut for OSD screen rotation

Hi! I'm a mister user who rotates ("tate mode") his CRT frequently when games need it. Therefore I was asking myself if it wouldn't be possible to implement some kind of keyboard shortcut for rotating the OSD on the VGA output. It is really annoying to do this everytime in the "ini"-settings... Maybe this little feature could be...
