Re: eXoflynn Top 300 update script fail

Hi My folders are mounted to my NAS using CIFS script When I run the top 300 update script, the script finds the VHD in games/ao486 and downlaods the update. Script then fails to create folders in E and reports loads of errors including the following (these are just from the last few I can read on screen): "cannot create /tmp/dos_games/E/util...

Looking at the pictures it seems you have a bridge on RN12 see where I've marked it on the below image.

Thank you for this! I reflowed the contacts and tested and all seems to work now.

Thank you again for everyone's help!

Re: MT32-Pi Issue "UART framing error!"

How long is the cable you are using? Also, you can use a separate power supply for the pi safely if you turn the mt32-pi power switch OFF- that will disconnect the power lead from the MiSTer. I'm using a USB 3.0 cable that came with the MT32-pi hat. If I turn the hat off and use the power supply with the PI I get the same errors if I'm also connec...

MT32-Pi Issue "UART framing error!"

Hello everyone, Seeing this error on the LCD screen when trying to start the MT32-pi. Connected only to the USER I/O port: "UART framing error!" It's also jumping through some other errors but they are too fast to read. If I comment out PSU errors from the wiki the error messages cycle through the above and something "break". Sa...

Re: VGA and HDMI Output

I figured out the VGA and HDMI out are both tied to the same mister.ini file - the alt_1.ini is just an alternate config if you so choose.

Still trying to change the the wallpaper on the PVM side.

VGA and HDMI Output

I sort of discovered on accident recently that the IO Board on my MiSTer can output VGA to my PVM and to HDMI simultaneously. I seem to have everything configured however I have a few questions: Does the MiSTer.ini apply to the hdmi output only and the MiSTer_alt_1.ini apply toward the second display (VGA?) Is there a way to change the background w...

Re: Can't Use Registered Controllers

A follow up to this make sure you "Define Joystick Buttons" and define each controller as outlined here: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/wiki/Main-Joystick-Mapping#mister-gamepad You will need to then map the controllers you wish to use to each core. I didn't fully map my controllers to the initial OSD outlined in the link I p...

Can't Use Registered Controllers

Odd problem for me - I have a mister setup with the blissbox 2.0 - not using any llapi ports just 3 usb ports for wireless keyboard, bluetooth and usb controller. I can register and define buttons inside the core/games on my usb and bluetooth controllers just fine but it won't let me interact with any of the games after that. (Example I can't press...
