Thanks everyone. I ended up getting a magni too. Wish the Loki came in black too as that would make this the perfect little setup but my whole desk/motif is black and woodgrain.

I’ve seen a lot of discussion surrounding DACs for MiSTer but all for speaker setups. I’m a headphone user for my MiSTer (I use ATH-M50s plugged into the I/O board). solved this. I had to map it as a gamepad. Works flawlessly now. No firmware needed or special button combo on boot.

I installed a Brook Universal Fighting Board into my MayFlash F300 Elite for use with my MiSTer today but my MiSTer does not recognize the board.
