Just sell the old one on Ebay, problem solved. Having two doesn’t make sense and probably never will.

As Usual CRT bias is showing. They have a passionate hatred about Dual Ram which they clearly see as a threat to Analog output. As such any advice they give on this subject should be tempered with the knowledge of their bias

Re: Dual SDRAM with Mixed Versions

yes you can. I run a 2.9 in the primary and a 2.5 in the secondary. Always use the most modern in the Primary slot. Follow this guide https://misterfpga.co.uk/dual-sdram-mister-fpga/ As for cores there is the PSX with almost 0 Difference. Saturn , and the Dual Ram Jag core The 2nd slot is not about capacity or speed. its just another channel that c...

According to Logitech's docs this keyboard requires onscreen passkey authentication in order to pair which would explain why you're getting that pair error. There's a thread here that goes through all the steps necessary to get it to work. Thanks for the link. I think I came across this page the last time I tried to get things working, but couldn'...

Of course it's possible. Is and it's been on sale at UltimateMiSTer.com for a long time, compatible with 2-player DB15 controllers. We sold out very quickly and are expecting new pcbs very soon from the factory to produce new batch. Compatible with the latest official add-ons, I/O v9, Jammix and Multisystem. Re: Any interest in a MiSTer DOSBox pack?

FPGA64 has been against this since its inception, and was pretty annoyed when it was merged into the kernel, but the reality of it, is that year long testing showed no risk whatoever, voltage is the same, temp are margin of error higher and if it's not stable it will just crash and you'll be back to stock. As long as you don't involve votage tweak...

Re: Any interest in a MiSTer DOSBox pack?

Oh yes, I wouldn't use anything over a 1000mhz if you don't have a fan. Disclamer is in the script as well if I recall. With a fan the temp increase at 1.2ghz was around 1.5 degree on my setup after 2 hour. There is no voltage increase though so it's still very safe but I wouldn't recommand it without a fan. The expected gain in DosBox at 1.2ghz i...

Hope you have 100gb+ free space avail... One of the main points of the 0MHz DOS Collection is that it’s split up. Note its a Jotego Premium Beta Core at the moment. So unless you are a patreon you have no way to actually use the core. The core will not allow you to configure the keys or send inputs.

Re: How Does the N64 Turbo Core Work?

Robert said this on the latest release

same as above, overclocked components: RSP/RDP 62.5->80mhz, CPU 93.75->120Mhz, DDR3 125 -> 160Mhz
VI and CPU Timer speed is adjusted to let most games run at the same speed as the normal core but with higher fps.
Don't report bugs with this version, only use for fun

I am having problems with the DualSDRAM versions from 20240315 and 20240318. Whenever I launch them I just get thrown back to the MiSTer main menu. Older DualSDRAM versions look fine and the singleRAM version von 20240315 also works.

Related with this... Is there a reason why single ram and dual ram cores for PSX are not combined? I mean, in dual ram you have the option of selecting the SPU Ram whereas in the single ram that option is grey out and can't be changed: https://mister-devel.github.io/MkDocs_MiSTer/cores/highlights/psx/#spu-ram-select I'm sure there's a reason for t...

At the point you are running a diferent CPU on the Cart its not really a game for that system anymore. Depends on your definition. The Super FX chip in Super NES cartridges was a 16- Bit RISC processor running at 21 MHz that made the SNES render 3D polygons. This chip was running cycles around the 65C816 8 Bit CPU that was clocked at 3.58MHz max (...
