Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display

im using the aforementioned acer nitro XF243Y, but can also confirm the scrolling isnt as sharp, compared to the scrolling on my CRT with test suite 240p loaded with a SD2SNES and an original console. I returned the Asus since I don't like the blurred picture when scrolling. It wasn't only during the Sonic scene, I also noticed some blur and even ...

Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display

Got mine yesterday and set everything up according to the recommended setting from this thread. I had my Sony BVM 20F1E right next to it so I could compare and adjust the picture even further to match the BVM. I think I'm very close with some extra adjustments and I'm happy to share once consider it final. The still image with the right filter appl...

Re: Logitech K380 Keyboard Won’t Remember Bluetooth Pairing

I found a solution for my case, using the Wedge Mobile keyboard and keeping this error: Removing existing pairing... Pairing... Authentication failed. ERROR: Pairing failed Add to trust list... Connecting... Done. By default, the Wedge Mobile expects a passcode for pairing. When trying to pair with MiSTer this way, I get the above output (I also tr...

Re: The Result of My Search for a Great MiSTer Display

Same here, I've just ordered at Amazon.de and it's only 236€ currently. I have a BVM 20F1, but changing its alignment via menu every time I change a core is tedious, let alone going tate with this heavy thing. If image quality is close, and input lag not noticeable (to me), it'll stay.

Thanks for sharing your experience RevolvingDork.

Re: Logitech K380 Keyboard Won’t Remember Bluetooth Pairing

I have the exact same problem using a Microsoft Wedge Mobile keyboard. Help would be much appreciated as I finally found a reason to use that keyboard :D

Re: 'Direct Video' disclaimer for RGB output

Thanks for the feedback. I have a BVM-20F1E and just checked the manual. It says: "Sync input: BNC type, 1 (with loop-through output). Composite sync: 0.3 to 8 Vp-p, negative, high impedance" I suppose this means I can connect with the IO board or through a HDMI to VGA DAC without worry? VGA to BNC cables that have a 470 Ohm resistor are ...

'Direct Video' disclaimer for RGB output

I feel like this has been discussed all over the place, but I couldn't find a final answer. Could someone please clarify: I have an IO board and want to connect my Sony BVM through a VGA to BNC cable. In the MiSTer Wiki, the disclaimer in the Direct Video section talks about VGA DACs outputting a sync signal of 3 volts or more on pin 13. They then ...

Re: Donate PCB

Great collection! So many sweet memories just be reading some of the titles. Especially Raiden and Galaga 88 stand out, I've played them a ton (and was addicted) in my arcades back in the day. Would LOVE to play them again on MiSTer.
