Re: Hardware Buttons without IO Boards

Hi I have been sent to this thread, from a query I posted in another thread. I have a mister in an acorn electron case, wired with hardware momentary buttons needed for OSD and RESET. I am sure we not alone in needing these GPIO/functions to use Mister Ive noted these no longer work on certain RBF's inc appleII and AO486. They still function on som...

Re: OSD and RESET buttons (wired to GPIO pins) used to work.. now only work in some cores?

hmm. I found a backup iso of my microsd card, that I made last year. I cant find any clues in the 2 x mister.ini's. and if I copy the OLD mister.ini to the current build, the buttons dont work. if I copy the OLD rbf's over (I copied the old AO486 and appleII as a quick test)- the OSD and RESET buttons work again. I've part answered by own question,...

OSD and RESET buttons (wired to GPIO pins) used to work.. now only work in some cores?

Hi My Mister is in a custom case /keyboard and for simplicity have the OSD and RESET buttons wired from GPIO to momentary buttons. I use those frequently I'm not sure when this happened, but I have realised some cores no longer respond when either hard buttons are pressed. AO486, spectrum, appleII etc, However! - using PC engine, Atom, Electron, an...

Re: Show Us Your MiSTers

Updating an earlier post about my MiSTer Electron https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?p=21411&hilit=electron#p21411 Since, now 2 years ago! - I have changed the USB hub to a powered version, with 5v taken from pins added to the Arduino header - this solved occasional device boot issues. The previous version soaked up power and the new one seem...

Re: eXoFlynn Top 300 DOS Pack Updates and Support

hi Sorry to bump, but if anyone could please answer all my dreams would be fulfilled ;) Hi Thanks so much for all your hard work, hugely enjoying the collection and fruits of your labour :) 300 games is too many for my needs or present usb space. I'd like to whittle that list down. When I'd (previous to your great work) used exodosconverter and TDL...

Re: Show Us Your MiSTers

This was once an "Electron-Pi".... it is now a "Mister-Electron". Cabling isn't as neat as I wanted but there's precious little space at the front of the keyboard so needs must. The ram just clears the rear of the keyboard frame. I had expected to tilt the board back more, but only needed a little in the end. I used half a Raspb...

Re: Acorn Archimedes Core

Hi I have a question along the lines of above posts. BTW Arch is one of my favourite mister cores. Remarkable job, whoever did this. thank you! My mister boots its archimedes core into screenmode 28. Mister reports this as 640 x 480 resolution. Mister then reports zarch runs at 320 x 256, and displays perfectly, full screen, and on break returns to...

Re: Macintosh Plus Setup

Hi all I'm not having much success running MacPlus. I just get a white screen with repeated vertical 'lines'. Oddly if I enter the mister Ui on changing ram I can sometimes ellicit an angry beep from what I hope is the 'mac' core. On boot, no matter which cpu 6800,68020, with 4mb ram; just a white garbled screen. I've tried various result ions in m...
