Re: UltimateMiSTer.com

I received my Jammix board yesterday. Was a pleasure to do business again: fast shipping, easy to shop and the product is just awesome. I really enjoy it in my cab, replaced ancient JPAC that I had previously, which wasn't bad itself (especially when I bought it long time ago for Mame pc) but I never got the image look just right with the old the J...

Re: Load tapes on C64 Core

I used standard kernal. This describes the issue I am having (not my report, though). https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/C64_MiSTer/issues/102

Re: Load tapes on C64 Core

Same for me. T64-files are not working anymore. Those used to work by mounting as a disk (however strange that is).

Re: Bricked Neo Geo MVS (real hardware and/or software)

I had Neo Geo MVS and I recall (could be wrong, just writing this as a hope that probably you haven't broken anything) that one cannot harm either the MVS board neither the game cartridges by pushing game wrong way in. It just won't boot. I do recall that the connectors in games and in the motherboard need to be cleaned quite well from time to time.

Re: Tutorial: How to set up your MiSTer with a J-PAC/I-PAC

I had the same problem with not being able to skip any keys with JPAC, but it went away doing one or both of following (don't remember exactly): 1) Restart Mister 2) When going to define keys I didn't use the USB keyboard to enter the menu but instead I used the DualShock 4 gamepad I had configured earlier With those the User/Space to skip reappear...

Re: Update all script and Jotego cores

I recall that Update all settings can be accessed by pressing up once just after launch update all script. There is a text telling that as well on the screen. Looking JTSTABLE release history, I see that CPS 1.5 core has been updated 14 days ago (with cheat support). I know the CPS 2.0 has been long in Patreon only beta and Sega 16 just started as ...

Inexpensive amplifier

I just received a cheap HDMI to VGA converter with sound output from Amazon. I plugged in to my arcade cabinet where I had old JPAC for connecting to JAMMA connector. Everything works really well, really happy. Only one thing remains and that is that the sound volume is low. Speakers are connected to a audio mini-plug which I can plug in to HDMI - ...

Vector games how to get better image

I am interested in playing Gravitar but I am unsure how/if can I get better image quality. I am using hdmi and 1080p and the lines are not solid but dotted so to speak. I understand that this might be a limitation of original display being vector crt and that there is nothing to be done, but if there is some settings I can try to change, please adv...

Re: SVGA resolution Gauntlet

Thanks for this, need to test it later. (Regular) Gauntlet is one of my favorite cores and somehow it feels much better on Mister than any other port / emulator I have played. My HDMI plasma TV shows some noise pixels in level change screen on Gauntlet II but I guess it is my display and it doesn't affect the gameplay which is perfect.
