Re: tty2rgbmatrix

Thank you!
That was exactly my problem and it was solved by adding this line!
Maybe it should be added to the instructions.

EDIT: Further testing it I noticed that in the first change of the core appear the following text: att, CONTRAST, 100, CMDSETTIME, 1662847096, CMDSAVER,0,0,0. And with the successive changes the text does not appear

Re: Issue with Update_All and USB0 (Errno18)

It also happens to me, I also have an USB0. What I do to solve this is to manually download the latest release from https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/tree/master/releases rename it to MiSTer and copy to the root folder of the SD card. You may also want to delete some MiSTer files that the script created on the root folder of the USB drive...

Re: tty2rgbmatrix

the files should be in 'data/gifs/xxxx.gif' where data is in the same directory as your arduino sketch. Thanks for your response. I've downloaded the zip file from your Github and executed the ino file from it, so I guess the file structure is ok. The uploading process of the files seem to work ok, with a percentage that reaches 100% witout errors...

Re: tty2rgbmatrix

Thanks for this project! I'm building this for my bartop, but the problem that I'm having is that for some reason the gifs are not displaying. All I get is the string "CMDCOR,name of the core,-1" in the leds for a moment when I start a core and then I get the text MiSTer FPGA. I've uploaded the gifs to the ESP32 without problems inside a ...

I've added:

The Even More! Incredible Machine (1993)
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (2002)

But I don't know if they would be compatible with the current ao486 core.

Re: Embedding into RasPad 3 case

Wow, you actually supported the touchscreen in lightgun games, I can't wait to test it once I receive my raspad. Thank you! I've also ordered the touchscreen for the ipad3/4 screen, I wonder if it will work. https://aliexpress.com/item/32979840359.html Also, I like the HDMI splitter to allow a tvout connection. Does it work directly or do you have ...

Yes, you have to search for the LP097QX1 reference.
Maybe if you buy the controller board and the screen separately you can get a better price.

Re: Some RPi screen with case to fit MiSTer

Nice project! Some days ago I posted something similar with the iPad3 screen you mentioned some time ago. (With the video_mode=13 you added the screen is amazing) https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?p=13607#p13607 The horizontal sdram module is mandatory for a project of this kind. I’m using both heatsink and fan. I’m currently improving the desig...

Re: Show Us Your MiSTers

Very cute! what kind of PSU are you using? It looks like that black box up top is a step up or step down converter? I have an iPad screen I'm building and a MiSTer I've finished, and I'm using a 12v 60w power supply to power the screen (12v x 2-3a = 24-36w), and it also goes to a 12v -> 5v 5a step down converter that powers the MiSTer and a little...

Thanks!
About the screen, it's an iPad screen with a controller board you can find in Aliexpress or ebay. Some info in this thread:
viewtopic.php?p=6344#p6344
I will make adjustments to the 3d model, it's not finished yet.
The stand is downloaded from thingiverse.

Re: Emulation available for Roland MT-32 or other more advanced sound cards?

So in summary, I have a UM-one connected to the USB on my MiSTer and a midi-in on my raspberry pi and a quality dac for the audio out on the pi. The 3B+ will work fine, but I recommend a 4 for those who want to buy one for this. More power potentially allows better quality. Ok, thanks, I will test it once I've built the midi-in circuit for the ras...

Re: Emulation available for Roland MT-32 or other more advanced sound cards?

I recommend MT32-PI. In a nutshell, you install Munt on a Raspberry PI that is dedicated to Munt using a very thin OS that makes it work almost immediately after turning it on (not Raspian). It is fantastic. I helped a lot with ironing out the bugs and it is pretty solid now. https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi I want to try it, but I don't unders...

I'm about to start assembling the SNAC board, and I'm also hesitant about the jumper in this board. In my case, I have a DigitalIO v1.2 which has an jumper selector for NES/SNES and Genesis connections. In this case, don't know if I should connect or not the jumper in the SNAC board.

No sound in Digital IO board v1.2 through 3.5mm jack

Hi
I’m unable to get sound through the 3.5 jack of the DigitalIO board v1.2
The led behind the jack is off.
I don’t know if there a setting in the ini file that maybe I’m missing
