As far as I know Porkchop ships worldwide. His aluminium enclosures in particular, are out of stock until March... maybe? Follow him on Twitter @misteraddons , he updates constantly about his stock at hand. [Edit] Ah, I see you're in the UK... well, it's that new VAT registration rule that prevents most SMEs from shipping to the UK currently. This...

Oh anything is better than the cardboard an MVS ships in even an anti-static bag is better. BUT the original boxes are just as collectable as the carts themselves especially is the serials match.

Re: Bricked Neo Geo MVS (real hardware and/or software)

It sounds like everyone here is saying I need to clean the cart slot, am I getting this right? Btw like I said it'll work for other games I inserted. The only problem games are AOF which I inserted too many times wrong and Shock Troopers 2 which to be fair I bought SUPER used and dirty. Slot and Cart. You can open them without damaging the labels ...

Re: Bricked Neo Geo MVS (real hardware and/or software)

From memory a reveresed cart should have no effect other than not booting. Infact I know I've done it a few times and had no ill effects. It's possible the pins and slots just need a clean as you've transfered crap from non-essential pins. A cotton bud and isopropyl is a good place to start before you worry too much.1

This and many other problems with the JPAC method is why I've ended up deciding to wait until the mistercade boards become available.

What you actually said was and I quote None of the guides i have found detail what the pin alignment should be, can anyone shed some light - there are 3 options for how it can be connected. a) centered b) post side justified c) ram side justified Which to anyone reading it comes across exactly as I said. You ASKED how a header designed to fit the s...

Re: Fitting RTC - 18 pin connector on 14 pin header WTF?

It's an 18pin header socket just with 14 pins connected... Think about what you just asked. Do you really think a header the right size to fit a socket needed to be moved sideways and the socket cut away to fit?

Re: New distribution system for Jotego cores

First impressions: Disappointed by the nagging/advert popup: it should at least time out so we can enjoy the little there is to see. The system seems to start only for SYSTEM16, no CPS2. How will it go for new patrons? Will they have to use the old method, will they be excluded because they became a patron too late or simply priority was given to ...

Re: New distribution system for Jotego cores

The script is downloading copyrighted files that you have to pay Jotego to use, but those files copyrights do not belong to Jotego. How is that not paying for piracy? Do note, I don’t give a crap. I am strongly in favor of piracy in all aspects, but piracy shouldn’t be for profit. Because get this you're not paying for the rom's. It's entirely leg...

It's pretty good but could do with someone sitting down and comparing them side by side to spot actual bugs, MVS carts are getting kinda expensive though.

Re: Power Button?

There's no soft boot on mister but if you just want the mister to turn on when your cab does you can just wire the power supply into the power port on your cab, another alternative is the upcoming Mistercade which replaces the io and hub boards and goes straight into your jamma connector for power.

Technically a 5A but who actually bothers with less than a 13A in a plug these days? Your breaker board probably out reacts the fuse, unless ofc you plan on dropping it in water?

Hey @Nat,
Any idea when the USB hub back orders will ship? Just realised I forgot to put an IO board in my order and since I'm in no rush until that's going to ship I was thinking of waiting and then getting you to combine the orders to save you some on shipping.
