MiSTer FPiGA maybe?

The only reason I don't like the name is because there are sooo many "pi" devices; orange, banana, raspberry... I'll stop here before I get gross.

MiSTer BANAna would be a pretty awesome name.

Then, sorry but I can't make any sense out of this: What's the logic behind having Z and C doubled with R1 L1?
Why? It's absurd. Saturn has independent Z and C and normal L and R.

it's for if you want to play 4 face buttons and 4 top buttons. you can also use L2 and R2 with 6 face buttons.

Also, I can assign L&R as individual buttons on the MiSTer main menu, so is L&R doubling as C and Z a core issue?

No, same on real Saturn and the same for me on the MiSTer.

maybe because the saturn does not have 4 top buttons. but they should be available in switch mode.

Re: tty2oled Soft&Hardware Add-On (Shows Core based Pictures on a Display)

Go to the linux folder and open the user_startup file. In there you need to put the tapto script at the top first position and the tty2oled at the last position. This gives enough space that the two scripts don't interfere.

with config files are not name amiga vision (.mgl and .cfg) ? and i get and "internel hardware error " with microcosm ... as i start the core the old way (minimig.rbf) i don't use the MGL Amiga.mgl and Amiga500.mgl files. So for the config files to work with the standard minimig core it needs to have the minimig name and not amiga.cfg.

There is no official NeoGeo-MVS so I wonder where you got that from. The NeoGeo core plays both console and arcade versions. There is no need for a 2nd core. It will be a hack someone made and horribly out of date

There was one from blackwine but it was never released to public because sorg didn't allow it.

I hope that, if you change the boot order (and add a delay) TapTo has done his probing and tty2oled can start normal.

Have you tried to change the boot order?

i think the boot order just did the trick. it shows UU on startup but then went back to the MiSTer logo and stayed. Thanks!
