Re: Show Us Your MiSTers

Got a new case with a custom ioboard/usb combo from taobao (saw it on the Mister Facebook group). They have various colour variants and even an aluminum design. Very nice and slim design. They replaced the vga port with a sega Saturn one. Which is okay. But I think I would prefer the vga one. I added/fiddled a usbc port for power which cracked a b...

Re: Test for 128MB SDRAM v2.9

Hi there, I've built one v2.9 SDRAM board using the 6TIN variety of SDRAM ICs. My board is stable at 141MHz, however I have only run the memtest core for around 30 minutes and without any active cooling. It seems that signal quality is the limiting factor. I think 141Mhz is a little low ,I have build 200 V2.9 SDRAM and all tested for at least 60mi...

Re: 128MB SDRAM v2.9

I have build some SDRAM v2.9.and it test very good,I think it's a great improvement over the v2.5,but I found a strange place on the v2.9 board, there is a top solder on the top layer,I don't know what it's used for and It's very close to the pin 29. I think it will be a Hidden danger, because the pin 29 is connect to the +5v of GPIO. QQ截图20210609090...

yes,It is not easy to solder a sdram , I'm looking forward to your testing with -6tin!

aberu wrote: Mon Jun 07, 2021 2:35 am Aren't you limiting your testing capabilities as you are using the AS4C32M16SB-7TIN instead of the AS4C32M16SB-6TIN?
I don't know if the -6tin can run faster, because I can't buy it,but the sdram v2.5 with -6tin of my friends can't run more than 150 MHZ in their hands,if have the sdram with -6tin,could you tell me your results, thank you!

Test for 128MB SDRAM v2.9

Now I have build some 128m sdram v2.9,and I have test about 10 of them, the results were excellent! Each was tested for at least 40 minutes, and all of them can run above 141mhz,5 of them keep 145mhz,one can keep 147mhz for 30minutes,I think it's a big improvement over the previous version, here is the pictures dc5bd73f147712d889e0f372e93357c.jpg f559...

Is that a custom build or is it available to buy somewhere? That passive case looks like the smallest integrated IO/USB MiSTer setup I've seen.
Yes,it is a custom build, based on the official IO6.1,it is designed to achieve the smallest MisTer,and more easier to use。

Re: 8Bitdo bluetooth adapter + usb 2.1 hub

I think the problem is the voltage on the hub board ,when I test it ,it is below 5v ,maybe the 8bitdo bluetooth dongle needs higher voltage to work
