Re: Anyone got the Transfer Pak to work with PKMN Stadium?

Hello, I made a small tutorial to use the current Transfer Pak implementation with Pokemon Stadium 1&2, I hope you will be able to play your game :) Note1: I assume you will use compatible games, so if you play Pokemon Stadium PAL French version, I assume you will use a Pokemon French version too from Yellow, Red or Blue. Note2: I can confirm t...

Re: N64 Core

I've read some people mapping a right stick on C button (when defining the buttons on Mister main menu), could do the trick?

But you may want to try an X-Input mode, which would be more compatible for the rumble feature 😉

Re: N64 Core

Thanks! I didn't see that up at the top of the FAQ. I was playing with the settings when I got the 00008, and didn't try a fresh reboot to clear out the settings I just tried, so I did that this morning. I just tried it again one last time before my trip and I actually don't get any error at all. I showed the FPS and it is 00, but no error code af...

Re: N64 Core

It seems I'm dumb, need your help :-) I was thinking that only Mario Kart 64 was working at my side because I'm using the PAL system with my PAL roms... But I was wrong, the issue I have is that the N64 database file is not recognized / read by the core : if I deactivate the auto and setup myself the system settings, even Banjo-Kazooie is booting....

Re: N64 Core

Maybe because of this:

WARNING!: The script updates to MiSTer unstable, if you don't know what this means then do not use this script!

Personally I don't want to update to MiSTer unstable, so I do appreciate the manual sharing ;)

And don't forget to read the shared FAQ carefully, or you will miss some steps... It can be "handy" ;)

Re: N64 Core

I can confirm that the Tribute 64 Wireless controller is working great on Mister too ;) (tested using its dongle) My advice for the mapping: map the Z button on "ZL" (LT / L2) and the R button on both "R" (RB / R1) and "ZR" (RT / R2). If a game is meant to be handled by the first handle (the one with the cross): you ha...

Re: PlayStation Core Full Savestate Support

Not really related but I'm not sure if my question deserves a topic on its own... So if I understand correctly, ps1 core won't use 100% of DE10-Nano capacity, does it also mean that there is no risk of overheating? Because that's my most fear about "3d" cores, I don't know if it could cause overheating because of the charge needed to run ...

Re: PlayStation, Whats Your Favorite Game?

I don't have a top 5 in mind right now, but one a my favorite game is "Sheep Raider" / "Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf" ("Une faim de loup" in french, I don't know why there are two english names). I really think it's the best looney tunes game on earth, lot of good mechanics and puzzles (and humor, of course)! EDIT: And don't fo...

Re: "Bad contact between games" error

I was transferring the uncompressed files via Filezilla, and the transfer mode was set to "Auto", which means that some files were mistakenly transferred as text files. Forcing the transfer mode to "Binary" solved the issue for me. Thanks for this! Looks like that solved it for me! I had the exact same issue, forcing to "b...

Re: Multiple SD card problems

I've received the new de10 nano and everything is working fine with it, the already prepared 200go card is booting, no issues when saving any kind of parameters... I mount every extension and still no issues... So yes, the first one I received has a problem with its SD card slot! Once again thanks to all, but what you're saying Blitzwing scares me ...

Re: Multiple SD card problems

I've tried to clean this SD card reader on the nano board with a tiny brush and... The SD card booted, so then I unplug and plugin just to see, without touching anything else than the plug... And then it didn't boot again and never since. Still no response from ultimate mister, but I found a de10 nano at an acceptable price to I bough it and we wil...

Re: Multiple SD card problems

Thanks to all, first I will answer :) So grizzly yes I'm REALLY sure :D And don't be ashamed, things happened! And thanks bazza_12 yes that's exactly what I did, just using the de10 itself without any additional component: the result is the same, no boot on my cards and no more boot on the delivered pre-install card. The delivered 8go card is a &qu...

Ok... I don't know why but now even the original SD card doesn't boot up... And no I didn't put it into my computer in the meanwhile...

I don't know if it's important but I remark that the blue led for the power is the one next to the 3.3v, not the 5v :|

I saw that the RTC module didn't had any battery in it, so I tried to boot without it and also...

Multiple SD card problems

First, hello all! I would loved to say that everything is fine and that I'm very happy with my MiSTer, but... I'm almost unable to use it for several reasons I will try to explain as clear as possible. Also I'll do my best but I may do (write?) some mistakes, English is not my mother tongue, I hope you will understand :) Also, don't think I did not...
