That did the trick.
Type
LOAD""
On a modern keyobard, to get that ouput, I had to type
LOAD@@
And then you select the .tap file from within the OSD.
Thank you so much!

Tapes on C16
A question for any who've traveled this road before me: On the C16 core, when trying to play a. tap file, here's what I do: Select "Reset and Apply" on C16 Core Bring up OSD Select "Load *.prg, tap, bin" Navigate to the desired .tap file and hit [ENTER] Return to OSD At the new "Tape" menu items, I turn Tape Sound = ON...

Disk Swapping Is Not For Lazy Penguins
I've tried. Seriously, I've tried. The only MSX game where I've been able to successfully swap disks is Ys I. Ys III? Never. I point SofaRun to my .bat file that lists all of the disks, and all I get is failure. I get as far as the Inn, and after Dogi enters, the game prompts me to enter the User Disk, followed by the Scenario Disk. And that's as f...

You guys who have gotten this thing running: I am so impressed.
Building boot.rom requires 2KO_BLANK_00.ROM and 8KO_BLANK_00.ROM. I have no idea what those are.
So, yeah, for those who've worked it all out and created boot.rom exactly according to the instructions: I am dead impressed.

2.4GHz & 5GHz WiFi Adapter
For some time I've been using a Canakit USB WiFi adapter on my MiSTer. The Canakit adapter worked fine, but it operates only on the 2.4GHz band, so it was prone to losing its connection whenever the microwave was in use. I shopped around for a USB WiFi adapter that was dual-band, and found the "TP-Link Nano AC600 USB Wifi Adapter(Archer T2U Na...

Re: RTC Version Differences
And there's a circuit diagram! Thank you! So on March 3, 2018 Sorgelig published a circuit diagram for RTC 1.3. And a little over two months later, on May 17 2018, he declared that a temperate sensor "feature is not even announced". Is there any reason to wait for an RTC 1.3 to be in stock with, say, ZeroHimself, versus just buying an RTC...

Re: RTC Version Differences
HTTP is a specification. It is managed by the Internet Engineering Task Force. Anyone can go to the IETF website, read the HTTP/2 specification (RFC 7540), and understand exactly what features are defined for that version of the spec. HTML is a specification. It is managed by the World Wide Web consortium. Anyone can go to w3.org, read the HTML 5 s...

Re: RTC Version Differences
The below is a post from Sorgelig on the old Atari Forums about the temperature sensor: Source: https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=345508&sid=b34ce8361b0f8ef03f8326572a184070#p345508 Very helpful. Thank you. This begs the question: Who decided there needs to be an RTC 1.3, and that a temperature sensor needs to be part of that version...

Re: RTC Version Differences
Thanks so much, LegacyPixels. Some questions for anyone who wants to weigh in: 1. Who decides a) the version numbers, and b) the features that are released in each version? Is there an RTC spec? I couldn't find evidence of one on Google. 2. Is there any practical use, for MiSTer users, of a temperature sensor on a clock? Or for either of the commun...

RTC Version Differences
Hi Mister People
What's the difference between RTC 1.2 and RTC 1.3?
I've Googled it, with no luck. And I looked at the GitHub page about the RTC board, but that hasn't been updated in two years.
