Re: Help with Dell 2007fpb no input

Change your Mister.ini resolution with this one adding this line: video_mode=1600,1200,60
It will work fine after this

Re: N64 Core

With the recent 23.12.18 update with a CRT monitor at 640x480 res it gives a OUT OF SCAN RANGE message so only a black screen appears... =( The 23.12.15 update is working right with 640x480 resolution.

Truxton Arcade Not Working Anymore?

Is something wrong with Truxton arcade core? When I try to play it, only gives a black screen and nothing more... or is only for me? Truxton 2 is ok.

@rhester Thanks man, I knew something were wrong with my configs... with Cache delay 10 I had bad frame rate(3-14fps) in games like Rush 2049, now in cache delay 0 the fps raised for 14-25 fps.

From the games I tested only four dont work properly: Marvel SuperHeroes vs Street Fighter, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Shienryu and Shining the Holy Ark... maybe there some others too, but I think the compatibility is close to 95% working now.

Below is a part(cut the main portion) of my mister.ini that works very well with my Sony Wega 29' CRT, as you can see I made modelines for almost all systems I'm using: So for almost all of those, you don't need any of those settings. Re: N64 Core

Anyone here knows a good modeline resolution for N64 in a CRT tv? I was using 320x240 but with enhanced pak games the res upped to 480i in some games, I need a good Hi res mode 480i. Is this modeline a interlaced mode? video_mode=640,16,64,80,448,3,10,6,22250 You shouldn't need a modeline at all. That defeats part of the purpose of using a CRT TV....

Re: NG.DEV ROM Ripping for MiSTer? (Gunlord & Kraut Buster)

When a working ROM finally gets dumped nobody will feel bad due to the cost. It's gonna happen eventually. They should sell a ROM on their website. Sure, not everyone will pay. But some money is better then no money. The main problem with that is no collector is willing to loan or donate an expensive cartridge(Kruat Buster) to be dumped and additi...

Re: Anyone with a Dell 1907FPt?

Best way to use this monitor with MISTer is using an analog io-board with VGA out, maybe you're using digital io-board with only hdmi conection and your problem lies in your converter... try to find a active hdmi to vga converter and put 1280 x 1024 resolution in mister.ini file. I use the DELL 2007FP 1600x1200 monitor for MISTer.

Warning! Making .chd from NeoGeo CD game files may corrupt audio in NeoGeo CD core

Sometime ago I converted a set of NeoGeo CD games to .CHD(using chdman.exe) and it works somewhat ok, but some sound errors occurs in games like Fatal Fury series and many others, but now I just discovered that many of these errors dont occur with pure bin+wav .cue dumps without compression in game files. It Is a shame because I really needed the s...

I know and I think I will go with mgl:
For AES I use the console core.
For MVS I use the BlackWine core.
So for CD why not use mgl, even if in the future the MeoGeo-CD replaces the NeoGeo core.

How to make a bgl file from neo CD core? Is there any links to download this new upload?

Re: Neo Geo CD Core

Put "top-sp1.bin" in games / NEO GEO folder
Put .chd (i used Ironclad.chd) in games / NEO GEO folder

About that, yes top-sp1.bin(bios) must be in NEOGEO folder, but you can create a NeoGeoCD folder to put your .CHDs and not mix with your MVS roms. Better organized this way, at least for me.

Re: Using a Symbolic Link to Make Accessing ROM Set Easier From the Super Gameboy Core

I wanted to do the same for NeoGeo CD core to search for .CHDs in a new NeoGeocd game folder instead of together with MVS/AES rom folders, because they are two different consoles.

That tread is only for official core updates, you only see neogeo cd updates there when is out of alpha status. But thanks anyway.

Re: So Robert Peip (FPGAzumSpass) Is Working on a New Core...

I really hoped it was a 3DO core but it seems Jaguar its the most certain one... heck we dont even have a NeoGeo CD core yet why??
Some computer cores would be great like a PC 98 or FM Towns Marty.
And I think a Virtual Boy core that would be a waste of time.
