I think I kind of solved it. It seems the latest few nightly builds don't start for me. I downloaded a bunch and at least one seems to work. Figuring out what the latest one is that works.

EDIT: Haven't found one that works with sound. Any favourite builds I could use?

I used the script in this thread I put two CHD's (SotN and Final Fantasy Tactics) and one CUE+BIN (Symphony of the Night) in /media/fat/Games/PSX in their own folders. The US versions. When I try to load it brings me to the Main Menu and not the screen. Tried PSX_unstable_20220221_157452.rbf and the previous build PSX_unstable_20220221_14e02c.rbf. ...

The white static is a fancy effect. Does it react to the OSD button?

It's a non-issue. That's how things work. If update_all potentially causes corruption problems I would call that an issue. Even if you don't call it an issue, it still could be useful to create a report. Because there might be a fix. But is there an issue? update_all.sh runs update.sh does it override a reboot? I use one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daS5RHVAl2U Cost me 8 euros and it seems to be working fine with 720p @60fps without tearing and v-sync = 0. I play on a CRT and record from HDMI. Low lag for me and I don't need a HDMI output on the capture card. I also sometimes share a OBS preview screen with Discord and show games to my friends.
