Re: Strange Ghosting on LG C2 OLED

I am not sure if it helps but this video covers pretty much everything you might want to know about this TV model, maybe it may explain this behaviour you are experiencing.

Re: Using a Symbolic Link to Make Accessing ROM Set Easier From the Super Gameboy Core

I think this should do the trick (please replace the variable with the IP of your MiSTer on your local network)

Code: Select all

ssh root@$MISTER_IP_ADDRESS ln -s /media/fat/games/GAMEBOY/ /media/fat/games/SGB

Re: Useful SSH Commands For MiSTer?

I think SSH is quite useful in my opinion. I actually feel lazy most of the time to fetch the keyboard when I need to inspect the contents of the SD card or downloading things directly on my MiSTer while I have it plugged in. So what I end up doing is using a terminal emulator on my phone and connecting to MiSTer via SSH to accomplish this.

Re: MiSTer Extensions

Thanks for the hard work!
This is quite handy. Most often than not we are spoiled for options and it can be very difficult to pick something to play. It would be awesome to be able to set filters such as "only pick selected cores" for example.

Re: Mario Paint Mouse Support

I am pretty sure there is mouse support on that core, you don't need SNAC. Just plug in your USB mouse and toggle mouse support under input options.

Just a heads up to those unaware of the best way of reporting these bugs. Please submit them via GitHub for better trackability and avoid duplication.

DiamondDave wrote: Sun Jan 09, 2022 10:43 pm That's interesting that an early beta release isn't functioning at 100% yet. Maybe it's just me, but I also noticed that there is no sound. When I play on original hardware there is sound, so hopefully this can be rectified as well.
For those that did not get it, which seems to be every reply above, this is called sarcasm.

Re: Manage Favorites via OSD

That would be a great feature to have... I understand it can be achieved using symlinks but it would definitely be much more convenient to be available from the menu.

Although I am a fan of his YouTube channel, I also think this post would have been more appropriate on the Guides & Videos section of the forum.

Re: Menu selector moves by itself on boot

I also had issues in the past with my WiFi dongle resulting in weird random input coming in. My setup also has a BlisSTer so not sure if there's a pattern there. In the end I just ditched the dongle.

Re: Unable to capture HDMI video through capture card

I have another model of Avermedia's capture cards and I had an issue with the signal not being picked up by either OBS nor Avermedia's streaming software. Turns out I had the hdmi_audio_96k set to 1. When I switched it off it worked. Maybe you can give it a try.
