Re: [New version!] SD Card Migration Utility for MiSTer: An easy way to migrate to a new SD card, no PC required

I had an odd bug where the script supposedly finished copying 400GB in one minute. The next time, I opted to do a manual selection of folders to copy and that seems to be working correctly. (got interrupted by MiSTer SAM, which I had turned off before, but sometimes it behaves a bit like a virus). Tried to clone with AOMEI partition assistent befor...

Re: C64 MiSTer RGB vs C64 Reloaded MKII S-Video

The selectable filters on the MiSTer core help a lot to get closer to the real SID sound, they are really fun to experiment with. I recently got a (Retrocastle) active composite adapter to use with MikeS's YC functionality (SVHS output in mister.ini) and the resulting composite image has the same color patterns as the original machines (caused by t...

Remove the daughter board and you can use a second memory module (and lose that analog output). Another advantage would be not having to upgrade your housing (not even when using two memory modules). The memory slot is still there, possibly that only works without the daughter board attached. can the old memory modules (i've got a 32meg and 64meg ...

oh ok, the chargers i saw on amazon showed 12v, not 100% sure how USB-C works, i'm guessing it can take multiple voltages? OR does the charger need to specifically be 5v?

I can't check it right now, but as far as I know it is five volt. I use a power delivery adapter for it, I don't think it does over five volts.

Which adapters did you get?

Thanks! I'd also like to plug the USB-C into the wall, what kind of adapter does it need? I read that a 25w is around 2 amps, will this screen require more power?

25w is 5 amps at five volt, should be plenty. I can power it from my laptop over the same cable that sends the video signal.

I also got 180 degree adapters for both the HDMI and USB-c connections (on Amazon as well), so it looks really tidy now.

It deleted a duplicate entry that I had added manually to the basic settings, I didn't see the existing one in the next section and for some reason a text search didn't find it.

I haven't noticed exclude list files, only blacklist ones. I should be able to check that tomorrow.

It is incredible how easily we can play Amiga games and demos on the Pocket, thanks to AmigaVision, when its only other computer cores are PDP-1 (not sure if it even has more than one game) and VideoBrain. And you need a dock and keyboard to use the VideoBrain core properly.

I know that the Gameboy Advance and Lynx cores have it (I requested three frame blending for the latter one and Robert kindly added it). I would expect it to be possible, unless it is somehow tricky for CRT display oriented systems. Found the commit, feature is called flickerblend there https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/AtariLynx_MiSTer/commit/5222a...
